How's everyone getting on?
We sat down last night and made a big list of things we still need to do and set deadlines for them (end of Jan, end of Feb etc.). There's a lot still to do but it made me feel good knowing that we've done some organising.
Having some small concerns about the venue - have emailed them with some questions and their emails are getting returned as their mailbox is full. Now I am telling myself it's because they've probably not been in over Xmas so they've just gotten full up. However their website hasn't been updated for a few months and I know they have events this and next month that should be on there. I don't really know why I am posting here cause I'm going to ring them when I get home to check everything's alright, I guess I just thought you girls would understand
Anyway, Happy New Year everyone

Edit: Just called them and it rang for ages before going to voicemail (having voicemail is probably a good sign?!) so I've left a message. Maybe they are just off this week. Think I will wait and see if they have contacted me by Tuesday next week and if not maybe start to worry. Could always get someone to make a speculative enquiry, see what's going on

Just popped on to say hi and Rahven hope you get your venue sorted. Am snowed under with work - have moved year groups and have all my planning to do! Arggghhh!

We have been very busy sorting everything out. Can't believe that it is now under 5 months to go!!! Day invites have now been sent out and all the groomsmen have been measured for their suits. I went to Debenhams yesterday and bought a really pretty nightie and dressing gown and also some ivory ballet pumps in the sale. They have some really good deals on their bridal nightwear at the moment as it is 30% off.

Still quite a lot to do. Rings have arrived but we need to sort out engraving. Exchanged Tesco clubcard vouchers for Goldsmiths vouchers to use for the cost of engraving. Bridesmaid dresses need to be bought and there seems to be loads of other little things to do. Big task for now is write and send all the evening invites out. Had a minor stress with day invites as they turned out to be over 5mm with the ribbon and needed to be sent as large letters and I had bought normal stamps. Still, I think that everything is pretty much under control (for now at least).
