Haha! I think I even shocked the OH by buying her a present... I even bought it from the German market and took my time to pick out what I thought she would like.

Have you managed to sort out your OH's best woman's suit yet? My OH has bought his button holes and has bought the same one for his best woman

We haven't got her suit yet but have a swatch of material from the suit hire shop so we can try and match it at least. I can't be bothered at the minute, conversation doesn't exactly flow so I'm going to wait until after christmas when I may have more patience! (I'm sounding like this should be in the bridezilla thread! )

Invite who you want to come from work and don't feel obligated to invite others. If she doesn't like it tough, It's your wedding day!
If you do decide to just send them out, prepare yourself for some regret RSVP's.

People who have mentioned it have said they'd rather come to mine anyway But I'm ok with expecting a few regret RSVP's, at the end of the day as long as Rob & I are married & there's no dire drama on the day that's all I need, the rest is just icing on the cake!

I think we have most of the big stuff booked - church, reception, caterer inc cutlery, crockery and linens, photographer, I have a dress, bridesmaids ones are being made, not having a band, save the dates have been sent... next on the list is buying black suits, turquoise ties and cream/ivory waistcoats for the men. And designing an invitation!

But for now, Christmas celebrations!! Hope everyone enjoys theirs! The last unmarried Christmas!

Not really Pern, it's ridiculous, all centred around an invitation. Trying to ignore it.
