    Aww congrats Shash :)
    How's everyone getting on?
We sat down last night and made a big list of things we still need to do and set deadlines for them (end of Jan, end of Feb etc.). There's a lot still to do but it made me feel good knowing that we've done some organising.
Having some small concerns about the venue - have emailed them with some questions and their emails are getting returned as their mailbox is full. Now I am telling myself it's because they've probably not been in over Xmas so they've just gotten full up. However their website hasn't been updated for a few months and I know they have events this and next month that should be on there. I don't really know why I am posting here cause I'm going to ring them when I get home to check everything's alright, I guess I just thought you girls would understand :)
Anyway, Happy New Year everyone :)

Edit: Just called them and it rang for ages before going to voicemail (having voicemail is probably a good sign?!) so I've left a message. Maybe they are just off this week. Think I will wait and see if they have contacted me by Tuesday next week and if not maybe start to worry. Could always get someone to make a speculative enquiry, see what's going on ;)

Rahven don't panic yourself :) You'll probably hear back next week as they've probably been snowed under with Christmas/New Year weddings and new proposals. Let us know how you get on, but please don't stress yourself out.

    Hello everyone,

Glad people are progressing but sorry to hear of those awaiting replies!!
I guess most people don't understand how important it is, as in their eyes it's "ages" away still, hope you get some replies soon.

We've made some progress - I'm sending the booking form for the DJ with the deposit by first class post tomorrow & I've found some possible bridesmaid dresses on ebay for a decent price. I'm waiting to recieve a sample so I can judge if the material is a good enough quality & the right colour, & fingers crossed we're good to order then!

Even better then that....we have booked our honeymoon!!! We're going to spend two weeks in Hawaii :j It's more than we wanted to spend but it'll be worth it, just means cutting back elsewhere so we can afford it. I'm soooo excited!
    :idea:Debt at July 2012: £12,862.57
    :dance:Current Debt: £0 :j
    100% paid off!
 Savings Goal for November 2016: £5000

Pernicious I'm so jealous! I would love nothing more than 2 weeks on a hot beach but H2B would moan the whole time about the heat :( We're hoping to get to a travel agents in the next week or so to plan Rome and Italy

On a happy note though we got our wedding rings today!:T Sadly H2B's was too small so a bigger size has been ordered. The best part is thanks to Mr Tesco we paid a grand total of £205 for £778 worth of rings! We raided both families for tesco vouchers and 4x them for goldsmiths vouchers. Bargain of the wedding!
