You've done a lot lately rahven, hope the house move went well xFirst baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140 -
Hello, just been having a quick catch up, i havent done anything extra for ages as been so busy, realised i done nearly 50 hours overtime in september so no wonder i havent had much free time!! however i have a very rare week coming up of only 2 shifts so im hoping i can get organising! main aims being to find a florist, book an appointment for suits as still havent done that, (think we're going to use Youngs as from what i've checked out they seem to be the best priced), work on information needed in invitations ( i think its going to be more like a guide book!), sort chair covers, and might need to research dj's as it seems the one we ment to be having (my OH's, mates, dad) is messing us about a bit because of the PAT test as he doesnt need one and OH's mate keeps saying that his dads never been asked for one before etc and it seems like he thinks he will be able to talk venue round or something, very annoying! but on the plus looking forward to resgistraring at end of month and meeting with venue to talk about food!Married on 16th June 2012. :j0

Congrats Lorna and welcome to the forum
We're all friendly here!
I can't believe I'm getting married in less than 8 months! I remember signing up to this forum 8 months ago! Eeeeek! Time is going way too fast!
Work is mental, I feel like I'm just about keeping my head above the surface... Tho that will change this week as I have parents evening and various meetings on most of the days!
I haven't done much wedding stuff at all, I'm sure there's stuff I should be doing, tho the OH is off for 2 weeks and then when he goes back to work, I'm off so we haven't got any time off together to organise stuff.
On a positive note, we've decided on where we'd like to go on our big honeymoon (the one in the summer hols as the OH has managed to book 2 weeks off!)I'm very excited and can't wait! Just need to decide where we should go for the week after the wedding, it'll be somewhere within the UK, hopefully a cottage or something.
Anyways, I must be off, I have food to buy for next week and planning/resource making to do! Oh the joys!
I'm glad everyone is well! I keep popping on to keep up-to-date with things but don't seem to have time to post.
Take care for now everyone! Oh and please tell me what I should be organising! :rotfl:❤Planned our wedding, still planning lessons❤

Great news Spoony - where have you decided to go for your big honeymoon?
We can't decide, Hawaii, Kenya etc are too expensive, so Cancun or Miami were looking promising but then we realised it will probably be waaaay too hot & of course it's the start of hurricane season....so where does that leave us?! We are stuck, might just go with whatever deal we can find on Groupon/Travelzoo etc.:idea:Debt at July 2012: £12,862.57

We're going to Austria Pern, well we're flying over to Munich, spending a few days there, then going to Salzburg and spending some more days there and then heading down to Innsbruck and exploring that area with all the lovely sceneryI am very excited! Especially as we booked the flights this evening... All I could do when OH typed my married name into the flight details was giggle!
I'm more excited as I watch the Great British Bake Off today on catch up and they had an Austrian chocolate torte called Sacher... I insisted that the OH and I hunt it down when we're there!
Perhaps a last minute deal may be ideal, it'd send you somewhere random and the excitement will be wondering where you'll go
My sister went to America (wedding) and then Mexico (honeymoon) and I'm not one for lying on a beach so I shall be packing my walking boots for the honeymoon!___________________________________Welcome to the forum anibell and congrats❤Planned our wedding, still planning lessons❤

Oh that sounds lovely! We're not really beachy people either & want something interesting to do, although I am insisting on 1 or 2 days of relaxation when we first get there as I think I will need it with all the last minute stresses leading up to the wedding!
That is true, a last minute deal would be exciting & save us a small fortune! I'm just worried about leaving it to chance like that:idea:Debt at July 2012: £12,862.57

afternioon all,
Am starting to freak out a little bit about how little I have done! things seemed to be going well for a while but then one of my bridesmaids decided she didn't like the dress, then my mum decided she didn't either so now have no BM dresses which means no colour which means invitations are on hold!!!
Sorry just needed to get it off my chest! At least we have DJ booked now!New surname New start!

Hi everyone!
Went to National Wedding Show on Sun with my MoH, I would say if you get the opportunity to go - GO! I loved it. Had a great day, didn't buy much but got some great ideas and went to a bridal coaching workshop which was a lot more helpful than I thought it would be!
Spoony - nice to see you hope you're ok!
Pern - a last minute honeymoon sounds lovely. We were planning on Florida but the flights are very very expensive at the moment so may also end up booking last minute xFirst baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140
