I got some and left quite a few at Haslingden last weekend, maybe try that one? Hope they are not still there now  dread to think how many customers would have been overcharged! They are ones already mentioned on the misprices thread so have a read, make a quick list and go for a day out

You need to be careful when posting what and where you r&r. If you name specifically items that you have r&red recently and the store it could be possible that someone from that store would view this thread and connect it to you. I try to leave it a while after r&r to post and try not to be to specific about the store. You could always pm a poster on here if you wanted any extra info on a misprice.
another reason is maybe burnley has an r+rer in there already hence why they are always on the ball. if an r and r works on a product in one store most times it will be the last chance for someone to get one because they will replace the sticker or correct the price

Hey dude just out of interest I am of the opinion that if there is nothing wrong i.e. illegal about a little R&R

    Hey AWJ,

No argument Dude - R&R is nowhere near being illegal.

My point is this - from a Tesco perspective an intentional R&R is against the 'spirit' of the Price Promise.

If you are a known serial R&Rer then you risk creating problems for yourself when you go for the big item after making it known - either visibily or via clubcard use - that you have a history of R&R activity.

If you have a persona of being a clean skin - then you are likely to have less problems and when you do hit CS resistance, you are more likely to succeed - you need to be a wronged shopper not an avid reader of MSE hunting for 'bargains'!

But - as always - each to their own is The Dude's motto.

Remember the film 'The Great Escape'.......

The Dudes patiently building tunnels for 100s of yards into the woods beyond the barbed wire are like the R&Rers who want to stay in the game for the long run.....

The impatient Dude trying to climb the fence in broad daylight before being shot by the Jerry Scum is the impatient R&Rer focused on bagging the single item at the expense of everything else....

In my experience, ;) Burnley aren't that clever and they aren't that keen on r&r handouts either!

I feel tesco might have tracked me through my credit card I put several large R&RS on the same credit card, over a 2 week period. when paying at tescos my credit card needed authorisation according to the check out girl it was routine I said I was in a hurry & paid by debit card. I then went to pc world spent over £100 on the credit card no problem.on contacting the credit card co. they said my account was fine it was not comming from them.after it happened again at tescos I avoid using that particular card and have had no furthar problems even with club card or club card plus.

No Dude - this is nothing to do with Tesco - when you use your card if the clearing centre (automated) detects any suspicious activity - an unusual expensive purchase or multiple quick purchases with the same retailer - the voice authorisation kicks in.

It's there for your protection and has nothing to do with Tesco plc.

If it does happen - most stores require you to report to CS to action the voice authorisation - if your account is healthy you will have no problems,

Totally agree with Dude (not sure about last 2 lines!) but it is hard to resist when you see blatant misprices.

Yes it was Felix because I bought a box of pouches for my cat... the SEL was out of date but the price at the till was even lower than that on the out of date SEL so I couldn't R&R anyway. My cat was happy that he got a treat, he normally has dry food

I appologise. Yesterday I posted that I had found no mention of a cat food misprice, but I must have missed this one.

Did anyone see the post on the misprice thread last night by the nutter claiming to have had a Dyson, Philips Tv, Breadmaker, + loads more all in one day after not R&Ring for ages - could not even get the wrong prices right.

It seems to have been removed now, so the mods must have agreed with my post (also removed) that it was all bulls**t.

    Amishi in disguise me thinks!

well I bought a games console, went to CS and told them I have been overcharged, the CS immediately went to get the manager, who escorted me and my gf to his office. The manager asked me to recount what has happened and to explain what i thought the problem was. Intimidation tactics? Make your own mind up!

Whilst this incident is well known it was very much an isolated incident and if I remember rightly, Josh is now fully aware of the legalities associated with such a detention.

Without wishing to overly dilute this incident - lets keep some perspective - if only for the sake of nervous newbies.

It is very unlikely that you will be escorted to a Tesco office after claiming a R&R!
