Minxz wrote:Hi,
I got a Nokia phone yesterday , and the £20 never came off, so I went to Cs and said I wanted a refund.
he agreed and aplogised and the gave me £20!
I had a screaming child with me so walked away wondering wjhether it was an overcharge etc, and not quite having the nerve to pursue it.
I called them later to mention that I'd been overcharged and isn't it their policy to refund the whole item, and they asked to call me back.
Should i chase this up? Should I contact cs and ask for a full refund, or just take the phone back, get a refund, then buy another?
Advice would be great- i normally hold my ground with refunds, but for some reason yesterday i bottled it and came home
go back and tell them you want an r&r as per their policy0 -

But they DONT have a blue sign - u know the one - if something doesn't add up .... WHY? - I thought they HAD to have this sign as it explains their policy. I looked REALLY well - there defo isn't one !
Any experience of this anyone please?
Have you looked around the til area, look for a white sign with blue writing that has the credit card logos on it, its usually on one of those.
EDIT: Its a small sign, usually A4/A3 size, small writing but it is on there!Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -

Was in the Pollock store tonight buying some stuff and had a good look for yellow SEL's quick look at the meat section but couldn't spot a thing.... either i'm rubbish at this R&R game or the peeps there are on the ball with pricing.
I think they had a Rowenta Iron 29.97 down to £14 sommit with a yellow sel dated 31/10/06 (i think) ... don't know if it would go through at full price and i don't need an iron so didn't try. Would this have been my first R&R had i taken it ?
Maybe one day i'll find one ... :-(
Pollock store is quite on the ball unfortunatelyOnly managed 1 mobile from them. Was also in here, theplace must be buzzing with us lol.The security guard kept following me around and I was close to asking him why but the r`n`r quest stopped me lol.think he missed the class on being subtle and I was not acting suspiciously as I knew the prices to look for so didn't need the scanner
Isn't it strange how all of a sudden all the scanners in most of the stores have stopped working?
Also spotted something I thought was a good offer, although not an r`n`r, a buffalo wireless network g type adsl router with usb dongle half price at £44.??0 -

I got one of those on R&R about a month ago when they were £59.99 but the offer had expired. Using it at this very moment for my laptop, and yes, it is a fairly good deal for £44Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -
I always wonder why meat is very often mispriced and fish rarely seems to be...0

i wish people would put the area of the store they got their r+r from as so other people could check it out as well.i say this as my local store in burnley is very good at being up to date with everything they do,thanks0

Some people had Felix pouches on R&R a while back when they were on an offer, cant remember the exact details but I think it was something like the senior ones were not included in the offer, but as usual the normal ambiguous signs from tescos just said "Felix pouches 12 packs" or something like that, I'm sure someone will elaborate.
I didnt get any though as all the stores I visited at the time had the senior ones in a different location.
I would get the catfood even if I didnt have a cat (I've got three) and give it to the local RSPCA centre, I would encourage all other MSEers reading this to do the same too! Why not?
I had to re-home one of my cats through the RSPCA last year due to moving and they can do with all the support they can get.
Yes it was Felix because I bought a box of pouches for my cat... the SEL was out of date but the price at the till was even lower than that on the out of date SEL so I couldn't R&R anyway. My cat was happy that he got a treat, he normally has dry food0 -

You need to be careful when posting what and where you r&r. If you name specifically items that you have r&red recently and the store it could be possible that someone from that store would view this thread and connect it to you. I try to leave it a while after r&r to post and try not to be to specific about the store. You could always pm a poster on here if you wanted any extra info on a misprice.0
