The problem with laptops was that the laptops were in the wrong boxes, the £599 laptops were in the £399 boxes.
Email went around to all stores.0 -

Email went around to all stores.
Does that mean we could strike lucky if we see any £399 boxes.
Re: the phones - I went to a young male who was obviously not as thick as he looked - gutting, a white SEL aswell.0 -
Still can't break my duck.
Was in the Pollock store tonight buying some stuff and had a good look for yellow SEL's quick look at the meat section but couldn't spot a thing.... either i'm rubbish at this R&R game or the peeps there are on the ball with pricing.
I think they had a Rowenta Iron 29.97 down to £14 sommit with a yellow sel dated 31/10/06 (i think) ... don't know if it would go through at full price and i don't need an iron so didn't try. Would this have been my first R&R had i taken it ?
Maybe one day i'll find one ... :-(0 -
:j Have got a few
R&R's in a week thanks 2 everyone. dunno if we should be posting how much we are getting as this may make Mr T take quicker action. What do you think?
P.S. gonna check low price daily stuff like noodles, beans, pasta more often as this could help monthly budget. I believe bulk buy limit is 1 case ( not applicable in self service tills :-)"The journey of 1000 miles commenced with a single step"0 -

Definitely pays to know how R&R works. They tried to give me £20 back today re 2 misspriced phones today, until I pointed out the correct rules and then got my £200 back!
I felt guilty the other day when I did my first R&R on a phone, but now having managed to do the same again IN THE SAME STORE I just feel sorry for them. How inept can you be? The first refund was arranged through the manager in charge of electricals. why the heck didnt he go and check the other SEL's is beyond me. Fools.
Was quite tense though, took a lot of time to get sorted, but thats £300 in my first week so cant be bad!0
