P.S. did you get the R&R!!!
Why did I go? Why wouldnt I? I wanted a free console!
The stand-in manager asked me to come back tomorrow as he'd check with local CCTV whether I am a serial R&Rer, and ask the proper store manager tomorrow morning if I could have the refund. I never went back to the store and conducted the refund via HO who complied with the policy. So yes, I got the R&R.0 -
Just a little timely advice given Josh's post.
If you are asked to accompany staff away from the shop floor I would recommend you ALWAYS refuse, if you feel intimidated then raise your profile immediately to the surrounding customers and staff by enquiring "Why would you want me to come to your office/cell/dungeon/ simply because you have overcharged me? Does it happen so regular that you have to sneak me away to give me my refund?"
There is absolutely no genuine reason for such a request to be made, the only aim is to intimidate you REFUSE to leave the shop floor better still refuse to have any further dealings with the individual making the request as you are clearly NOT going to get any customer service from them, leave the store WITH your purchase if necessary and take it up with head office and raise a complaint.Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -

A serial R&R? so what's the problem, you are simply asking them to honour there own policy whether or not you are unfortunate or lucky enough (depending on your point of view) to stumble upon some miss priced items and there for simply feel duty bound to request an R&R is surly pretty much straight forward!
I am sorry to ask but was it the "stand in Manager" that escorted you to his office, was anybody else with him!

I then went to pc world spent over £100 on the credit card no problem.on contacting the credit card co. they said my account was fine it was not comming from them.after it happened again at tescos I avoid using that particular card and have had no furthar problems even with club card or club card plus.

off topic sorry. tesco mobiles have a deal on at the minute offering 20 pounds off certain phones when you spend over 40 quid in shopping .the deal includes the nokia 6111 normal price 109.97 bringing it down to 89.97 on the leaflet.however all the other mobiles in this deal have the yellow sel in my store stating this but not the nokia 6111 which has a white sel of the full price .do you think the discount will automatically come of at the till or do you think i will be overcharged.any advise greatfully received.0

My mate got escorted to a office on Thursday over a phone. Manager basically accused him of visiting numerous Tesco's to get free items.
It was only the 2nd refund he had ever had and the 1st from that store.
Amishi, you have made my week with some of your posts over the past two days.We took on Mr T and we won:D
Shame it had to end, will have to get free stuff from comps now :beer:0 -

Fair point after all as far as I am aware Tesco has no ties with the Third Riche (TRY THE ILLUMINATAI), unless of course the "STAND IN MANAGER" wanted your number eh!
