And subsequently compiled CCTV/images of "potential R+R abusers" that's posted round the company for store detectives to follow?
Surely Spa2k and Constantine will be able to confirm that they've been contacted as part of this operation?
Not if they've been instructed otherwise................Couponing....."every little hurts"

Played on that saying I thought discount would come off at tills, dept manager came along, came back with wrong A4 sign and said " must be a till glitch so we can give you the difference". I confirmed that he was in agreement that it was an overcharge and he said yes.
He went and then I queried the "difference refund", she got on phone to him , she didnt say anything to him, after 5 seconds she said " ok" , got off phone and said I can give you a full refund !
And I wasnt going to argue, was going to walk away if they stood firm but they didnt. No mention at any stage of the fact the offer was out of date.
R+R 69.97
Shouldn't you have had a refund of £79.97??0 -
Well spotted , yes got 79.97 !! doh!0

Hello! Newbie here.
If Mr T is watching MSE, then how about a new Insider's view???
Should this post here, or can someone redirect it where it should go for moneysavers to see.
Mr T doesn't like using this Voucher:
"Special offer Promise Voucher"
- If a product on 'Special Offer' sells our, a Special Offer Promise Voucher can be filled out for the customer.
- This means that the customer can then buy the item at any time later at the special offer price.
- When a product on special offer sells out, a "shelf talker" should be displayed, telling the customer they can have a Special Offer Promise Voucher.
- Special Offer Promise Vouchers are available through the Customer Service Desk.
I'm sure you all know where the Customer Service Desk is!!!!!!!!
Well I have never seen a "shelf talker" telling me I can still have a special offer - have you?0 -

Would it have rung up as £37.97 at the till ? Wish I'd tried now and then said I'd seen the price on Tesco Online - How does that work with R&R - Can you compare online prices with store prices?
(Just checked price online and that too is £39.97)
All phones marked up with correct price and 7/11 expiry date
1hr30 round trip, traffic a nightmare - No goodies for me.
My price was lower middle showing game of the week at special offer. Keep your chin up, keep trying. You'll bag some soon.

Been scouring this thread for a few weeks now and I intend to go to a couple of stores tomorrow to attempt my first (intentional) RnR......but just a quick question for the experts out there.....
My local store had a reduced price Ipod shuffle (1gb) £44.xx BUT with the price next to a sample of the NEW Ipod shuffle that's not due out for another week or 2. (RRP £55.00)
I wonder whether I could buy this new one on a 'rain check' voucher and then collect it when it comes into stock shortly.
The £44.xx is obviously a reduced price for the old style shuffle.
Any ideas??0 -
Probably fixed by now but early this morning (7:45 on my way to work) I picked up 3 of their xmas gifts priced at "3 for 2". I got a mouse mat, a travel alarm clock and an Olay gift pack. The reduction didnt come off so I went to CS - harassed lady there said there had been a "glitch" and the 3 for 2 wasnt working. I tried very hard to get all 3 items refunded but she was having none of it....but grudgingly refunded the higher priced item of the three. I jokingly said I was going back for more and she told me in no uncertain terms that I wouldnt be allowed another refund "now we know about it".
This was the Blackpool store.0
