God, I know! Every time I have to walk past those PCS and their out-of-date SELs it breaks my heart!

forgot, got a motorola V3 silver today, white SEL 79.97 but they still had an A4 sign with 10% off offer, out right next to the new sign saying 20.00 off a 40.00 spend !!

Played on that saying I thought discount would come off at tills, dept manager came along, came back with wrong A4 sign and said " must be a till glitch so we can give you the difference". I confirmed that he was in agreement that it was an overcharge and he said yes.

He went and then I queried the "difference refund", she got on phone to him , she didnt say anything to him, after 5 seconds she said " ok" , got off phone and said I can give you a full refund !

And I wasnt going to argue, was going to walk away if they stood firm but they didnt. No mention at any stage of the fact the offer was out of date.

Would it have rung up as £37.97 at the till ? Wish I'd tried now and then said I'd seen the price on Tesco Online - How does that work with R&R - Can you compare online prices with store prices?

(Just checked price online and that too is £39.97)

All phones marked up with correct price and 7/11 expiry date

I have read these threads for so long now.... I feel like I have a room fulll of tv's pringles, chocolate, books and games..;)

Am still a R&R virgin.. after wearing out shoe leather in Swindon..

Im going to stay with friends in Plymouth next weekend, should I not bother with visiting the tescos there.. and go and socialise instead ?
