Noticed that all the TVs in my Extra had all info and barcode removed from the CD cases. It had been replaced with a 'homemade' note instructing customers to ask assistants for full information.

    Very interesting!!!

    hi guys

went to tesco today, and bought a sony erricson w810i, it had a white sel, however it was clearly stated on the poster that this phone was included in the offer. I spent £40 in store on a mixture of groceries and toys and the £20 discount did not come off. Went to customer services they agreed however the store manager says the discount is only on grocery items, but that is not stated anywhere in store or on the leaflets. They refunded the phone but would not do an r&r, i phoned head office and they say the store is right. Can anyone advise where I stand?

    I am really mad

    thanks

The exceptions are listed on the back of the leaflet - cigs, lottery, petrol, etc.

Looks like the have conned you!

I suggest a letter to head office is in order.

Trouble is that the average age of the CS around here is about 102:eek:

I appologise. Yesterday I posted that I had found no mention of a cat food misprice, but I must have missed this one.

Did anyone see the post on the misprice thread last night by the nutter claiming to have had a Dyson, Philips Tv, Breadmaker, + loads more all in one day after not R&Ring for ages - could not even get the wrong prices right.

It seems to have been removed now, so the mods must have agreed with my post (also removed) that it was all bulls**t.

    Amishi in disguise me thinks!

Hope you are not talking about me, i got a Microwave in the morning then got a goodmans tv and breadmaker in the evening, my post has been deleted i had never done this before that day but because my local store is in the middle of a massive refurbishment at the moment it was dead easy, i am not lying i have nothing to do with Amishi, will even send pictures if you want

I had an annoying experience with these 'Promise Vouchers' today. I was looking for the Mcmannis wine (hopefully mispriced as per the other thread). A helpful wine guy showed me where it should be but it was sold out.

This wasn't in Taunton was it? I was struggling to find the lower priced SEL for the McManis Family Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon when a customer effectively led me to it as she told a member of staff that she was looking for the McManis wine that was on special offer. There was no wine in the section above the SEL and she seemed to be getting the message that there was none in the store. However, I had already noticed that there was also McManis Family Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon on another shelf, with an SEL for £7.49. The crucial difference is that this is labelled California Vintage 2004, whereas the Cabernet Sauvignon that is on special offer is labelled Special Release 2005. I got four bottles and got full R&R as I successfully argued that it was reasonable for me to assume that this was the wine referred to on the half price SEL. So thanks to Peter-D-W for the OP and thanks to the woman in the Taunton store. The CS woman was also really good by the way. She gave me a full refund without me having to mention the R&R policy
