Totaly fed up.
Am an R+R virgin and went to Peterborough serpentine green tesco today to try to lose my R+R virginity so to speak!
After 4 hours i have got NOTHING!
Every thing i tried for came up at the correct price and i tried for loads of the same stuff that i have seen people get on here.
Also 3 self scanners in the store but only one works, this is the one slap bang outside the clothes till and changing room ( With the 4 members of staff keeping a beady eye on everyone who used it). Honestly not being paranoid they really was.
I will say i am perhaps being paranoid when i say i think it's a bit suss that the only S scanner working is that one. The other two in quieter areas of the store both broke!
Hope you all having a better day than i did. Have come home feeling really dissapointed.2007 Competition challenge.( Win back my ntl internet costs for a year) Target £220 Have won so far = £9.99 Loreal revitalift pot of cream. and = £14.95 Royal mail smilers stamps!
Weight loss challenge started 3/1/07= Target 5 stone/ loss so far 3 stone and 4lbs (yay!)0 -

Did your store have this sign up behind the CS desk....................
"And if things don't add up ~ In the unlikely event you are charged a higher price than on the shelf or the product we will refund your money and you can TAKE ME HOME":j :j0 -
Chin up Poppielia, have come home empty handed several times, but one decent R&R wil change that "disapointed" feeling into one of " YES ".
The only problem you will have is keeping a straight face as you walk out of the door.
Also, now I think coming out empty handed is a bit of a waste, so will try chat up some of the staff as a self serving reward for my diligent effort to find misprices.
Enjoy.Back to square one, no apg, no comment.0 -
Strepsy wrote:Computer in Tesco Warrington today with an out of date SEL, think it was £349.99 reduced from £399.99 until 27/10/06. Didn't have the bottle to try it and no self scanner in that store unfortunately.
Was this the IQON computer package 15" flat screen ?
Just i did this last night with an out of date SEL and went through the till at the recuced price.
HTHI made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!0 -

Never heard of the paper bag method then Poppielia ?
Must admit some of the CS don't appeal, how ever, like looking through the SEL's, patience rewards.Back to square one, no apg, no comment.0 -
