new challenge guys, has anyone else managed to shag the CS they got and R&R from ? Or is this a 1st ?

I feel the bar has been raised !

:rotfl: Frequent, you kill me. I've not laughed so hard for a long time!

However, I feel the question is: Did she feel the bar had indeed been raised? ;)

Well folks, I am afraid today I have reached a new phase in my life.

Ashamed and mortified. I don't know which feeling is worse.

I will name no names or locations - to protect ME

    Tesco,
    Cs desk
    Huge Queue
a couple already being dealt with to one side - involving female cs and male member of staff ( section manager, duty manager ??)
couple have, I assume, bought 2 items which lie clearly on show on cs desk and have been overcharged.
The whole queue could hear the majority of the discussion - esp me as I was obviously in the prescence of fellow msers - as the items on the cs desk were already well reported items on the mis-price thread.
Male staff member was offering 'the difference' both customers were having non of it (- fair enough, they obviously know the policy)
Male customer became Very agitated, says he will take it further ( couldn't quite hear every word, but wouldn't have been surprised if he had mentioned a specific name at ho  - anyway) says he will show the Tesco male where the offending pricing was to be found.
As he walks off following the member of staff he says quite clearly, "I won't accept the difference, I want an RnR"

I nearly died on the spot !!!
    I was horrified !

The Tesco bloke literally stropped dead in his tracks, spun on his heel and said
    "What did you say ?"
The customer then came back with "I want a full refund and ......"
But I'm afraid by then the damage was done.

    I was completely Gobsmacked.

I felt sick to my stomach

Please, please, please if you have not gathered the gist of this thread, if you want to get a free tv, a life-time ban, and never get another sniff of a R&R carry on like a bull-dozer.
If you want to gain LONG-TERM benefit from this thread, and Tesco policy, for heaven sakes try not to ADVERTISE yourself.
NO CUSTOMER HAVING BEEN ACCIDENTALLY OVERCHARGED WOULD EVER, EVER, EVER USE THE EXPRESSION "R&R".
THE PHRASE DOES NOT EXIST IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE, IT DOES NOT EXIST IN THE TESCO POLICY
    IT EXISTS ON THIS SITE.
ERGO THE CUSTOMER DEMANDING AN R&R IS CLEARLY ANNOUNCING TO ALL TESCO STAFF HE COMES ACROSS THAT HE KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT HE IS DOING.

PLEASE, I beg of you, read the posts of someone like Duder

I assume the customers were new to R&R, I hope anybody with more experience would NEVER, EVER have used the term.

The Tesco bloke quite clearly knew, the minute the phrase was spoken, what he was up against.
I didn't stay to see the outcome, although I did see cs staff who had been there, and they looked shell-shocked.
I wouldn't mind, if the total R&R was more than £25 I'll eat my hat.
Even if they got it, they will now be well and truely on the radar in THAT store.

If that was you..... just a friendly word of advice.
    Lay low
Never visit THAT store on the same day/time as you just have if you hope to continue R&Ring. Preferably give it a wide berth, or go in disguise.
I hope you didn't use your club card - if you did, never use it again for R&R.
Yes you may have been overcharged, stand your ground by all means, but you certainly drew EVERYONES eye to you during this particular episode.

All cs staff are not dragons. Even if they are, the other advice constantly given on here is to stay calm, do not raise your voice and remain polite whatever the provocation.
Some would advise to step away and give up when Tesco are clearly not going to give you the money and the goods - you will do exactly as you want, but I wil certainly recognise both customers if I see them again, so I think the chances are that all the Tesco staff on duty ( inc security staff) will as well !!

Frequent, Its often been said it would be handy to have someone on the inside

Didnt think you were going to take it quite that literally though!
    Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently! ;)

Does anyone think shagging CS was what Martin had in mind when he wrote that ? Must have been.

Any chance you could sort out the Worcester CS Living Dead Witch with a 'seeing to' Frequent?

Obviously I don't know if your tastes stretch to necrophilia but she sure could do with a smile on her face....

Got another 4 champagne and choc boxes today!!

Front box on shelf had the £18 bit ripped off of it but it only had two boxes in it, but bingo! behind that there was an intact box with another two sets!

Also got 4 bottles of the McMannis Cabernet sauvignon, would have got more but thats all they had!

Had aggro in one store that refused R&R on the McMannis saying that its only the reserve on the offer despite the big SEL having no mention of reserve on it! Another case of ambiguous signs!!

Gave up in that store as it was obviously going nowhere and couldnt be bothered as I knew I had several more stores to visit!

The witch at Copdock Ipswich could probably do with a seeing to as well!

Bet the only thing that been between those legs has been her broomstick!

    Well said Old Bag.

I hope you horrible newbies were paying attention...

When you approach the CS desk your opening gambit should always (**) be 'Hello, I've been overcharged.....'

Wait and see if you are offered a R&R - if you are offered anything else just point to the 'Our Promise' sign which you were, ehmm, "reading whilst waiting to be served."

    Duder

** Unless you are Frequent then this should read "Hello Honey! Am I pleased to see you again or is that a canoe in my pocket! Woof Woof!"
