The last item that wasn't on the receipt was a dvd, the girl took so long trying to get the security case open she forgot to scan it! And she was packing my bags for me. I didn't want to get her into any trouble by mentioning it at cs0 -
exactly the same thing hppend to me yesterday Floflo.
Got two tins of quality st and she had a right face on her. My mate had got a refund the day before from her and she had told him he could not take the things back as they had already given a refund.
She then went and said the same thing to me, I tried to bite my tongue but could not resist.
"Actually, if you read your sign it says my statutory rights are not affected, so if I want to bring them back I will, not that I will as I plan to eat the whole two tins of free chocolates"We took on Mr T and we won:D
Shame it had to end, will have to get free stuff from comps now :beer:0 -

Perhaps we should give them the difference and let them keep the product :rolleyes:0 -

Although most stores do as goodwill.
Anyone put me right?0 -

You will know the answer to that question yourself as you claim to work for Mr T
See mystic pegs earlier posts :rotfl:0 -
Right off shopping with my list in a mo, is it all tins of quality street that are affected by no longer scanning at 2 for £9. If I remember correctly there were gold tins and also purple tins. And are the celebrations that were 2 for £9 affected aswell. Thanks.0

Why display a Tesco policy board outlisting extra customer services provided by Tesco above and beyond statutory rights if Tesco object to actually providing them.
I have also been told when receiving r&r on electrical items that I could not return them if they were faulty - naughty, naughty.0 -

The sels are always turned or taken off until they can be reported even if there is stock. Some people don't check their receipts so it is done to stop them losing out.
Thats because I read here before I go to work. Tee Hee
Yes I thank you for that. Makes my job much easier!
The store I work in has very few pricing errors. For which we are proud. To call me imcompetant when you do not even know me and probably don't even shop in the store I work I feel is very rude. Reading your quotes you look a very rude person. If you came that attitude in my store we would do our upmost to make sure you did'nt get a refund. At the end of the day we are not trying to trick you out of money and all we will give r&r with no problems.
Attitude does not help!
Some customers go to customer service not just a little annoyed, throwing things using foul language. That is the attitude I am talking about. One big lady gets f***ing fat cow. No need for this. CS don't make the pricing errors. All this before they even have a chance to make it right. That is the type of person I mean. The regular person with good manners we have no problem with and have no problems with R&R.
That enough of your posts mystic peg ?
