Hello all (Have posted this on the misprice thread too).
Just a warning for people to check when they go to Customer Services as my local Tesco have changed the Large Terms and conditions sign and it now doesn't include the R & R policy?
Don't know if they are changing the policy? God I hope not...........
Thought it best to post it on this thread so people know to look - as it makes it harder to argue when you can't point to the sign.
Hopefully it's a one off.

Do you have the problem of CS instantly recognising you as a serial r&r er ?, is your profile too high?, have you been banned from any stores? then I may just have the answer for all of you?

I used it and don't think they had a clue who I was
Shame they don't stock this at Mr T's as I'd be able to exchange the Dr Who DVD from a few weeks back for it !!Drat and Double Drat, curse that Mr T excuse for not giving me a refund.
EVERY LITTLE EXCUSE HELPS in trying to get out of the R&R policy when the law has been broken, especially on high value items.0 -

I can never remember the exact policy wording so I've just checked back to the start of this thread
"And if things don't add up ~ In the unlikely event you are charged a higher price than on the shelf or the product we will refund your money and you can keep the product"
Ts website states
And if things don't add up
• In the unlikely event that we overcharge you we will give you your money back and you can keep the product.
Don't know whether this is a policy change being rolled out, or what the difference means in practice - if anything0 -
I was shocked to see a big sign up at one Tesco I visited, which read "We accept ASDA vouchers" ! NICE !0

The point I'm making is that if I was a manager working for T I'd be circulating these kind of posts and saying to staff 'these people are taking the p1ss out of you, lets get it sorted'.
Yes but Mr T head office circulates emails to all stores to get prices correct and they ignore them, why would they act on the information you would circulate about people taking the p1ss?:rolleyes:0 -

If there sealed take them back to CS for a refund (28 day policy).
Even if there not sealed you can still get I refund. I took an opened Xbox game back to a different store. CS claimed it could not be refunded because it was open. I told her that is how I was given it ! she would not believe me 'as all Teco's stores sell the games sealed' so I invited her to phone up the other store and ask them how they sold their games. She then apologised and paid up.0
