Thanks for this link,
Still think each to his own, posting don't feed the troll just because you don't agree with his views negates the purpose of discussion. You were right to point out the link.
Incidently wlfc1 did you read my posts? then you would have known I have posted several misprices since my time here. So why the attack? You'll be calling me a troll next!

I suppose I can answer my own question in the sense that if the receipts aren't flagged today - they'll probably start doing it before too long. Anything to try and foil the r&r aware shopper - except price things correctly of course!
Maybe I should save the receipts up for my retirement - I wonder how far back they can add points on for....
I was told at CS last week that points can be added up to 6 months after the purchase date. I have had things added on at a later date and it has never caused a problem, since I was converted to cash only payments!!We took on Mr T and we won:D
Shame it had to end, will have to get free stuff from comps now :beer:0 -
Nope, I am just an average person from the UK.
I do get a little angry when I read of glitches etc in systems that people target,
I'm also very reluctant to march up to a till and say, something along the lines of ''all this meat you have charged me a pound a pack too much must be refunded, and I must keep it too, as per your sign'' why would I have put it in my trolley if I didn't intend to pay an amount for it.
I didn't set out to troll.
I have, as suggested read this post from the beginning, and at the outset the intention seems perhaps less harsh than the later parts I read.
Apologies if I have caused offence, I'm off to lurk on the old school forum as I do daily. Most people overlook opportunity as it comes dressed in overalls, and looks like hard work.0 -

How difficult do you think it would be for Good old honest Mr.TESCO to refund all clubcard users who were oblivious to having been overcharged once they discover a "glitch" in the system - given it will show who purchased the items in question, they could even do it by way of crediting points to clubcards......TESCO EVERY LITTLE change to the t&cs HELPS0 -

But you have just answered your own question. The reason you put it in your trolley was because you wanted to pay the price displayed. But when it went through the till it went through at a higher price.
If you want to buy a car and it said £9999 on the window would you be happy if they said "right sir that is £10,999"
I know I wouldn't.We took on Mr T and we won:D

valid point.
I wouldn't know anyway, I rarely look at the receipt.I price it up roughly and if the trolley is 10 or 15 quid either way, I wouldn't check. I'm more likely to notice something if its wildly out, or a basket. Most people overlook opportunity as it comes dressed in overalls, and looks like hard work.0 -
Since lots of the meat is individually priced it's probabaly the case that most of the people who have bought packs glanced at the item to see the quality of meat - so it's also safe to assume that they may have also looked at the price.
Isn't putting it in your trolley and handing it to the CS tantamount to agreeing to that price? What if CS then argue that against refunding you?0 -

Next time you go on your shop....check your receipt.....and if you notice you've been overcharged....times that by the amount of times you shop and work out how much you've been charged over the years and hadn't noticed.
it could provoke a different viewThey've got cars big as bars
They've got rivers of gold
