On the subject of Data protection and the Subject Access Requests, My OH works in banking, she has told me several times that these are considered very serious by the banks and all other work stops for those dealing with it until its done, she had to deal with one a while ago and it took her nearly a month to get it all sorted. She has said it would be the most annoying thing you could possibly do for the sake of a tenner!

The tenner will be in the post on monday.......

And they are usually a lot more expensive than anywhere else so you get more for your money! (or not, as the case may be)

I always use sainsburys, if you exchange something there, they give you a new receipt with the exchange on it! ;)
exactly same for whsmiths .. for example cough cough not saying anything incriminating ..
lego star wars xbox 360 exchanged to the value of £39.99
    new ps2 game £29.99
    cd £9.99

happy kids, whoever they may have been ;) also given a new receipt and told could exchange again if not what they wanted, not that i know them of course ;)

I'm not about to start a slanging match on here....... however the pathetic personal attack that you have posted quite honestly sums up your mentality.

Seems like you are mate ....

Weren't you the guy who alluded to me being anything other than polite in my phone call to Kevin Kelly ...... it might just be me mate, but, to me anyway...your posts come over as a bit condescending to say the least .... :cheesy:

PS I must say though .. I don't honestly follow Spongers argument either... best I stay out of it and keep me mouth shut .. sorry ... :)

sponger2, I accept that you stumbled upon here after honestly buying an xbox and game, what I don't understand is how you were overcharged. You received staff discount which presumably was more than the £2 difference in this tenuous overcharge.

Every credit to those that got it, to those that didn't, remember overcharges are like double decker buses, there'll be another big one along soon.

    1) If my posts appear condescending then i apologise, i simply try to help where i can and offer an alternative point of view....some like it some dont, differing opinions help the world to turn.

    2) I have been accused of licking my bosses nuts, trying to wheedle onto options (the tesco promotion program) and other such nasties by a fellow employee who blatantly wouldnt say such things were they stood in front of me and is trying to obtain a free x-box from their employer.....need i say more?
