And they are usually a lot more expensive than anywhere else so you get more for your money! (or not, as the case may be)
I always use sainsburys, if you exchange something there, they give you a new receipt with the exchange on it!Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -

Just got back from tescos and they had 400g of cadburys biscuits in the xmas isle for £5.99, then on the shelf above the same tin with 100% free (800g) for £7.99...........they are surely exploiting the cadburys free offer so it seems like a R+R might be applicable...........might try tomorrow.....
Personally i wouldnt like to try this one,but is this legal in a trading sense???.0 -

explains a lot when tesco's announced this years profits the managers all went out for a meal with there £1000 bonus us ordinary staff were treated to a value scotch egg and pork pie buffet
you can see why are opinions differ

PS And I love Pickled Eggs, Black Pudding, Cheese and a bit of bread....
PPS I'll get my coat on the way out...0 -
so you never shop in tesco but you decide to buy an xbox that strangly has an issue around pricing from tesco , then you dont use your staff discount which would have saved you £25! Sounds fishy to me already!
Why would you even risk your job for an xbox dispute!
And actually those non existance shares are worth 3.6% of wour wages so at 15 hrs 300 quid a year!0 -

i was NOT aware of any issue reguarding pricing of this xbox when i bought it.
i used my staff discount for the first time ever since starting work for this company.
im still yet to see a single share given too me fact and as i only earn £4000 a year 10% of this would be £400 so im guessing 3.6% wouldnt be £300 more like £150 if i ever even see that0 -
sponger2 wrote:yeah i see your point sounds like you like to l**k your bosses balls and ask for seconds
!. dont mean to be rude but i bought my xbox without knowing anything about being duped by tesco i literally bought that pack over the pgr3 pack as the saving was more therefore i was duped but worst of all by the same company i work hard for. i really couldnt give a !!!!!! about my non existent shares and the fact ive only got a 15hr contract there so my 5 days holiday a year can get stuffed youve obvisouly been trained to be the tesco monkey you are i HAVE NOT.
bottom line i bought the xbox as a customer not a member of staff tbh its not really about the xbox anymore the fact that there saying staff arnt entitled to the price policy personally i didnt see that in my contract "work here and all your rights go out the window" also i asked the manager of the store if i buy a £5.97 cd and you charge me £105.97 ive lost my money cos im staff his reply "YES" surely you dont stand up for this or are you trying to get onto options my little boss training friend
Personally my friend i dont give a toss if you get the r&r or not, it does not and will not affect me in any way shape or form. If you are typical of the employee that is in your store then boy am i glad that i dont shop there.
Finally if you even contemplate handing over £105.97 for a 5.97 cd then you are far more stupid than your current posts make you look!Fight Poverty - Hit a tramp!

This is taken from your first post....sponger2 wrote:just thought id say i work for tesco for my sins and after discovering your thread and buying an xbox pro bundle last week i finally went in to get my first r&r on it.
So after discovering this thread you buy an xbox pro bundle......but you had no intention of r&r'ing.......with a username that includes the word sponger i am begining to doubt the validity of your claims.Fight Poverty - Hit a tramp!
