On my outing today, I was quite frankly appalled by the amount of items that are not even priced! Let alone mispriced, What's going on?
Are the shelf labellers on strike? There were loads of goods, high/low value (I think, can't tell, no price:confused: ) That seemed to be in "Limbo"

Happens sometimes, especially on new lines - replenishment GA will lob it on & forget to get the label. Or the SEL goes missing on a standard line and takes a while to get replaced. I can think of 2 in my place that I know have gone walkies (nothing to do with r & r) that have been missed when they should have been replaced.

With all due respect, that would certainly not be in keeping with the policies of other national stores like Argos. In many cases it would also be totally impractical. What if you were on holiday in Scotland when you bought something and then wanted to return it when you got home to the Isle of Wight?

But we are talking RnR, and you have to be able to show the misprice.

Normal returns CAN go to any store.
  • Went in a home store the other day and there were around 40/50 dvds and cds with no label or sticker, let alone games and books etc!
Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together. :p

i think if you were over charged and you didnt know you were overcharged and this wasnt known by the time you left the known store and you found out you were overcharged i think you will know by the time you will have arrived at your known destination unless you didnt know where you were going which would have been the unknown. so i think its a known fact that peoople should check their reciepts before leaving know what i mean? and as you know all tescos have different prices so isle of wight tescos wont know you have been overcharged

With all due respect, if you want to claim you were overcharged on an item you need to go back to the store you bought it from.

I was not talking about any other circumstance. Specifically, if you wish to claim for a miss price, the only store that will entertain it is the one you bought it from.

Argos do not have a policy of providing the goods and refund should you be overcharged, so I fail to see the point of your analogy.

No, your wrong. You were told correctly - go back to the store you bought it from.

But what about if say you were holidaying in the north and bought something in a store up there travelled back down south and found the item you purchased didnt work?

Surely you can return it to any store just as you would if you purchased an item from a clothing store and returned an item for a refund to a different store?

== i was just talking about a bog standard refund and not an RNR==

Is there a Tesco store list online, I am travelling down to London from Wales in the next few days and wondered if there are any near to the motorway junctions I'll be passing or any around the Knightsbridge area of London.

Have a look around in Tesco petrol stations or around the CS desk in store and try to find one of the store locator books, VERY handy!

(although dont rely on the map/directions too much)

Some ideas - as I`ve done both of these.

    * Trade in at GAME. They give £25 trade for Splinter Cell,..............

    * Really cheeky one, this. Take one of each of the (sealed) games to your local friendly Sainsburys........... Got two new titles that I wanted that way.

Either way - thanks again Mr Ts ! your incompetence and arrogance is a real treat. :T

1st idea - acceptable, compared with

2nd idea - no, Ham Sandwich, not really cheeky. Shabby, shameful, dishonest? IMO, yes. But to someone who regards 'incompetence and arrogance' as a real treat............

Of course you can. But that was not the question asked or answer given.
