  • ok, no doubt I'll get shot down in flames  but had a good day yesterday and got a 6230i (was £99.99 SEL 89.99 on o2) and also a Bush Freeview box (was 34.97 SEL 29.97).

Now after a bit of a fight with the CS, who said she would only give me the diff - then I said I thought the customer was given a full refund and the product to keep. She said "Oh so you know about the policy!" as if I was at it, as if!!!, and she had "caught" me.I said "well actually it's printed on the sign behind you I've just read it!" (had scanned whilst she was away to pick the phone up.

Now I didn't us a clubcard and she never marked the receipt, so can I take this phone back and get it refunded?I know this has been discussed before but neevr really seen a solid outcome...The box is unopened.Do T staff mark it on the system as R&R?

I would take it to another store, as far as I am aware they cannot tell unless it has been marked refund, I have never had a problem.

Noticed the following, probably loads more. Always check the prices.
Lime and Coriander Crisps, Quakers. 28gram bag, 39p a bag but quoted on SEL at £1.12/100grams. Should be £1.39 per 100grams.
Tesco Non bio liquid detergent, and the colours one. 1.5 litre bottle, £2.30 a bottle quoted as £1.15 a litre on SEL but should be £1.53 per litre.
    Would these qualify as misprices???
Always check your prices per 100grams/mls etc, never trust Tesco to do it for you.

I think this is similar to the meat fiasco, pack price higher than SEL price, just not so easy to spot & needs more thought, as it's price per 100 grams/mls.
Can someone check the method please

Pack price divided by pack gram weight = price charged per gram,
    multiply by 100 = price per 100g
If that figure is higher than the SEL price per 100 gram, then you have been overcharged.

EDIT - if you take it up to price per Kg (like meat) then the crisps detailed by Smiley_Mum are being overcharged by £2.70 per Kg! Am I correct?

No, there will be differences between stores in different regions. For example you will find items more expensive in London compared to the rest of the country.

All to do with the "cost of living"

    Couponing....."every little hurts"

Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

Been to Arena Coventry every day this week and Mr T is definately on top of his game. Nothing to be had. It's quite clear they're watching this. I think a PM system would be better.

That relies on everyone who posts knowing everyone else who also posts, really impractical. I have only just started mispricing, third day today, three forays to date £78.00 to the good, thank you mr T, you will defo be mentioned on my christmas gift tags, 'Merry christmas from ME, OH, DD, & Mr T.:D :D :rotfl:
    I had a plan..........its here somewhere.
