Tesco misprice discussion area part 13

Yippee!!!! I got my got my first RnR today, WKD blue 4pk, bought 4 packs, pos said 2 for 7.50, out of date sel. Been on a training course today and called at T there, glad I did.

Again, called art one on my way home for a drink n sandwich n got some KP peanuts, 4 tubs, pos out of date, 2.69 each - 2 for 4.50!

Each time CS very helpful, and they actually told me that I get my full money back and keep the product, maybe had something to do with me looking at their policy board when CS coming bsck from checking price! hubby couldn't believe it when I got home!!!!!

Drink n nuts on T for xmas so far!!

Can the moderator PLEASE delete all of the rubbish chatting posts in the mis-prices thread. It is so blimmin anoying!! why dont people understand that this one is for discussion!!!

OK, I don't know if this the right place for this but I am soooo excited right now... OK, I really need to get a life BUT I just needed to tell you as this was my "first time" with Tesco's and their misprice policy.

So, hubby wanted a fan heater so we can just heat one small room for 30-60 mins in the morning when it's really cold (rather than heating up a whole house we thought this would be a cheaper option, but that's for another post!). Tesco's have some Value Fan Heaters at £8.92 so I bought one, the price came up on the till at £9.47... normally I would have told the cashier and she'd have got somebody to come and put in the right price, but now, thanks to you guys, I simply loaded it in the trolley, paid my money and trotted off to Customer Services.

I was asked "which part of the store did you get this from?" and I told her and she simply refunded the complete amount :j Only trouble is now my receipt shows a refund for the item I'm not sure that I'll be able to claim on the warranty if it goes wrong?

Anyway, I'm very happy and would like to thank you all for initiating me in this money saving world

Went to a store today, Blade and Austin Powers DVD boxsets stickered up on the item £17.xx but SEL at £15.xx. I left it, assumed they would come up at the SEL price?

What do trading standards actually do when enough people have reported tesco for refusing to refund as per their policy? do they visit the stores themselves and try for an r&r i wonder?
Id love to see the faces of cs staff if they think the trading standards are mse'rs and they produce ts id lol just an off the wall thought going through my head dont suppose it would ever happen :rolleyes:
