Went to a store today, Blade and Austin Powers DVD boxsets stickered up on the item £17.xx but SEL at £15.xx. I left it, assumed they would come up at the SEL price?

Also, following on from my previous CCTV post and in particular to Tesco stores...

The camera operator that you see at the front of the larger stores is the visual deterrent, sometimes referred to in stores as "The Sentry"!!

The point being that you can not fail to see them as you walk in, and let's face it - it's not a safe location to be discussing potential "marks" over the phone or WT, and so there is a much larger office with 1 or 2 camera operators in situ.

Each operator has a bank of 5+ recorders, a joystick and a simple keypad to locate and flick between any camera by an allocated number.

If you overhear a conversation between security staff and you hear codes such as IC4, IC3 etc - This just relates to the type of person (IC4 being an Indian/Pakistani, IC5 is an Oriental as examples).

Funnily enough IC7 means that the person is an alien!!

Well done BabyElephant! Not only your first R&R but a new one that no-one has yet posted on the misprice thread!

    :T

The Postman is right, your statutory rights are unaffected, Tesco has refunded your money as per their policy but you still bought the item, you have the receipt and can return it if it is faulty.

To report your misprice and get the thanks you deserve, you need to click on the words 'Quick! Grabbit while you can' above your post and find the Tesco Misprices thread (for posting misprices only, copy the format others use, short but sweet detail, price, scanned at, etc.).

I presume you've already found the other thread for discussion, which is how you learnt what to do? Why not copy and paste your post there too in case anyone has missed it. New misprices are always well received.

Keep it up, I got 2 xbox games, a PSP game and a CD today (different stores).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
