I put in the hard work so you dont have to! ;)

I was determined to come home with some beer today and Becks is as good as any!
    Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently! ;)

Got pro evo during lunch break & noticed this at £29.99.
Scanner broken & didn't wanna chance my luck rnring 2 items at the same time, so i thought i'd go back after work with different staff on CS desk.
What do u know, all 3 that were on the shelf had either been sold in the previous 4 hours or they had removed them.
Not a big store so I suspect the latter!
The SEL however remained so I will keep an eye on this one. Thanks ocset
scanned at 29.99 with me earlier!

    sel was 29.99

Decided that i didnt want it :D
    £2051.50 since Oct 25 2006 ;) Make mine a Golden £143.46 :D

    I love Leadhead :D:D

Calling a truce re the self righteous comment, however re the attitude that people phone up with, it varies from the ultra polite to the ultra nasty so how anyone is approached at head office depends highly on the approacher and their mood at the time.

This is very true. In all walks of life politeness and a calm tone of voice will gain you far more than any other approach, (90% of the time anyway, the other 10% are just ignorant people who just don't appreciate subtlety).

Police Officers, using their discretion, often issue a ticket or a warning based on whether the motorist passes the attitude test. The same principle applies with Tesco's CS.

Have a nice day folks and chill out. :rotfl:

  • GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN!
Oh how I miss those little Xbox and Pro Evolution Soccer display boxes...with the 19.96 saving so prominently displayed to entice us all to buy....

Oh and the bargain price of £37.97 for the game alone.... sadly gone but not forgotten...

I knew I would miss them so fortunately I took some pictures... I bet some of the people in HO would also like reminding too....

So the Xbox premium alone is £259.97 - What a looker!

and the Pro Evo game cost this much (and still does in some cases at the point of sale):-

    Pro Evo Game and SEL

Stuck on the side the of the hexagon promotional display shelf was this little label (pretty isn't it):-

The Little Pro Evo SEL on the Hex. Display

And last but not least, perfect in every way especially the crucial words "Save £19.96" is the promotion box itself, Sweet! :-

The very finest "Cube" in the shop

So I say do the maths... realise the overcharge, make the complaint... see Tesco do nothing until they fight us in court!
