i would NEVER r&r an item to just sell it. ive only r&r'ed little things that i wanted, was going to buy, or simply as a small treat to my little family.

    just my approach though.

not that i'd say no to a TV or xbox360 or freeview box. i wouldnt sell though, if i got too much or felt that i had to do an R&R to highlight the misprice, i would give it away.

    guys - it's christmas!
It's not xmas it's November:confused: Only in the retail outlets it's xmas.
  • Anybody had any successful R&R's at the big Tesco store in Coventry near the arena? I'm going there tomorrow and might look out for some. I only just found about this Tesco thread, I don't know much about R&R's and all that business but this has been an interesting read :)

    Hey Spa2k,

    hows it hanging dude,

think it's fair to say that Felix is a newbie and doesn't know that you bat for the otherside ( so to speak ).

Terrible foul on Sissoko last night.

not bad frequent, not bad...any conquests today?

The first tackle was apalling but as usual went unpunished, the one where he was injured was fairly innocuous, big loss though, he is one of the only players to play almost every game!!

Bat for the other side...please, i prefer to sit on the other side of the fence!

  • My mum was overcharged on a cd today, she went to CS to complain and let them go off alone only to bring back the wrong sel, she then accepted a refund instead of showing them the correct one.

For anyone feeling partcularly self righteous, do they really presume I/we ring up Kevin Kelly with anything else but politeness, fact, and pointing out their error, and their policy ... only to be treated in a (imho) poor unproffesional semi-aggressive manner ....?

    Get real

Calling a truce re the self righteous comment, however re the attitude that people phone up with, it varies from the ultra polite to the ultra nasty so how anyone is approached at head office depends highly on the approacher and their mood at the time.

so do you just go and buy r+r ' s and no other shopping??

Dont they ask how youve managed to buy only miss priced stock??

Dont know about anyone else, but i do all my shopping there because its the nearest shop to me, I even buy milk every day from there when I pass, but i usually say to cs when ive been overcharged if they have refunded me before, 'i check every receipt now after the last time' which is true, i do!! not my fault if they continue to get it wrong, what do they think youre going to do..ignore it?? apparently so

Monster deals, I am offering to test those cds you bought ;) Ive not been able to find any of the splinter cell cd's mispriced yet. Ive been to a load of stores too. I have a nice new xbox 360 and it wont play these black dvd's I got for my old PS2.

As for getting a refund on opened games it wont happen, games, music, dvd's etc are not included in the 28 day returns as they can be coppied. Stores will only replace faulty games like for like so your stuck with them. unless I can test one of them for you ;) The store shouldnt really be selling unsealed games, why dont they use the security boxes like every other store?

I got my xbox playing my mp3s from my laptop last night, legos starwars till about 3am this morning through my small bedroom 5.1 system I will get it on the big system at some time I just need 3m an optical cable to the amp.

    me?

Well if tescos were better at pricing my products would not be mispriced

but 4 out of 6 items mispriced does not reflect well on tescos! :D
    £2051.50 since Oct 25 2006 ;) Make mine a Golden £143.46 :D
