Might help if you put the games into an Xbox 360 instead of a CD Player!

I thought an Xbox was a Blue Ray CD player !

If the Spliter Cell CD's are Blue Ray is that why they will not play in my normal CD player (or Toshiba DVD player which I have now also tried).

As Kevin Kelly won't seem to budge (although I must admit I did find his irritable manner amusing) ... He'd be crap at the bit on Countdown actually, his maths is atrocious ... come to think of it, hes not that eloquent with his words either.....

He was obviously far far too important to ever bother himself ringing me back ... maybe he had lots of tea on his trolley today...
I do wonder if you would be quite so unkind if you had have got the refund that you want or even if you would tell him of your comments on the telephone rather than on an anonymous internet forum where you can hide behind your username.

For the record, i do not know nor have ever spoken to Mr Kevin Kelly, however i do feel that personal attacks are not needed within a forum whereby the person being attacked has no recourse.

The blu-ray player is in the yet to be released sony playstation3 and in the xbox is the hd-dvd player(not sure about that bit though!)

However you are correct in saying that they will not play in a normal cd player.

Eh ? He said he was going to call back ... never did ... but I wasn't surprised as whenever I spoke to him, it sounded as if I was putting him out (hardly the best CS there eh?)

I'll happily tell him my comments anywhere I like too, let's make it in court eh? Are you telling me that all of a sudden his math's is going to add up there too??

And HE can keep insisting I'm wrong, when in fact the store blatantly is .. but I'm not allowed to say ...?

And as for him having no recourse, he can come on here can't he? Iit's a public forum ....?

Mind you though, according to customer services he 'doesn't have an email address' (what????) .... so maybe he isn't allowed web access either ?

Now, where's my cup of tea...? :coffee:

I cant and won't comment on your individual case as i know none of the details.

What I can say is that if you approached any CS rep with the attitude that you have so far displayed on here it is of no suprise that you have not achieved your desired end result.

Was refused an R&R on PES6 for the Xbox. SEL was £39.xx, poster was advertising it at £37.xx. I argues the case for a while, but they firmly refused because the picture of the PES6 sleeve was different to the actual sleeve.

Wadge, pressed the thanks instead of quote there for some reason.

If I were you I would go back and press your case. The product is what you are buying, not the picture on the box or poster. The fact is that you were overcharged on the product and therefore a refund is the right course of action to follow.
