Different stores have different systems, some have a dedicated cctv room and some do not, unfortunately i do not know which stores have what!

    The bigger stores have both
  • Its probably not a good idea to get an R&R on the same product twice in the same store to the same staff. Try finding more Stores. I live 1 min from an Extra with 2 big stores and 3 extras less than 20 minutes away. I seem to be in a Tesco hotspot.

Surely R&R is Tesco's policy and if it causing them such a problem upholding it then they should change it, other supermarkets don't seem to have these problems. How hard can it be to programme a new item into the til system with the correct price.

I can't believe CSA's are behaving in this way it's not as though it gets taken out of their pay.

If an item is mispriced and results in the policy being used, the mistake should be corrected (SEL removed, etc). However, what happens a lot is that the issue isn't corrected, or is something the store cannot (or forgets to) correct. Stores have to explain their refunds. One example of this is the current BOGOF offer on Sensations crisps. It keeps being knocked off the system, leading to the offer not kicking in. This, in turn, leads to a full refund (as per the price promise). PID has to remember (or be reminded) to keep setting up the offer on the system each day to avoid this particular overcharge happening. If PID forgets to do it, another customer is overcharged and another full refund given. This then needs to be investigated to see what's going wrong. No-one seems to know WHY these things happen, though (offers dropping off the system, etc). That'll probably be something to do with Tesco's relocation of helpdesk and IT department. ;)

  • I recently r&red a cd, twice in a couple of days, to the same CS. CS called a member of entertainment to the front desk and gave them a ticking off because CS had sent it up earlier to be corrected. CS, didn't notice however that I was the same person that had got away with it the first time...
As my sig, seems to be offending some. I have removed it, god bless you mr T.

    ................................................................................................

This has happened to me 3 weeks in a row and al 3 were chickens,

Same cs, nice enough and no prob with rr.

Only complaint was that she had sent the sels out for sorting and they were either just stuck back on the shelf or ignored.

Left hand doesn't know what the right is doing.
Back to square one, no apg, no comment.

Just a quick update. In relation to my recent letters of complaint for being accused of fraudulent behaviour and refused an R&R on steak, I got a £20 card today. No apology over the allegations though, just an apology for the overcharge!

I know this might be a longshot but........ has anybody ever contacted Sir Terry Leahy's office by letter and had a reply or positive outcome of their enquiry/complaint? I know miracles don't happen very often, but perhaps Tesco's do pull them off now and again.

I emailed Sir Terry almost 2 weeks ago, regarding being accused of fraudulent behaviour and being abused and refused R&R by duty manager over £18.64 overcharge. Got a reply from someone else yesterday and £20 card this morning.

I have just been accused of fraud and banned from a store, they claim to have cctv footage of this (placing mispriced SELs which is a complete lie) which they refused to show me as obviously they didnt have it they also threatened to call the police in an attempt to make sure i left the store, but backed down when i insisted that they did due to the nature of the allegations i think i have managed to record some of the accustations being made. The store manager at one point said to me "were you in XXXXXX store yesterday" when i replied "no" (which i wasnt) he then replied "oh really of course you werent"

i was on my lunch break so had to eventually leave the store and accept a refund and return the product, head office even refused to RNR due to the allegations made against me

will no doubt give a more long winded version of events later but just wondered if anyone had any idea on my next step?
