now a race marshal at silverstone.:beer:0 -
I got my refund on the phone in the end.
But please be aware if you are deliberately trying to confuse/distract cashiers in to missing the discount (as seems to be the case reading between these two threads), there is a 4 digit code on the bottom of your receipt that identifies the cashier that made the error, and tesco are logging & disciplining the staff.0 -
spa2K - pleeease could you explain that last post in English? I read it umpteen times and could not make out who it was aimed at - us the customers or Tesco staff?
As far as I am concerned Kevin Kelly did not know me from Adam when he called me yesterday and from the off he was shirty, !!!!!! and very defensive. I was only polite to him all through the call and did not lose my temper/patience at any time during the call. Now if he was in a mood that should no way reflect on the way he conducts himself with customers. I suggest he attends Tesco's Customer Service School - oops - I forgot they don't appear to have one of those. Now if Tesco's can't be polite from the airy towers of HO, how on earth can they expect their shopfloor staff to be any better. I think there is something about setting a good example gone wrong as far as Tesco are concerned.DTD - Doing Tesco Daily - while I still have vouchers!0 -

The first tackle was apalling but as usual went unpunished, the one where he was injured was fairly innocuous, big loss though, he is one of the only players to play almost every game!!
Bat for the other side...please, i prefer to sit on the other side of the fence!
If u watch the 2nd tackle in slow mo, u see the defenders leg inside of Sissiko's, with his hand full of shirt.
Looked like a nasty fall ( sorry to the rest of u tesco freaks, to go off topic)
No conquests ( low profile with the T and the ladies..er and the Mod's).
Wondering now, just how long it is before we see a pic of one of us in The Sun.Back to square one, no apg, no comment.0 -

i purchased a Philips dvd player DVP3020 on Sunday for £29.99, went to the same store today and its now £34.99...
Look for the old sel of £29.99 and its in the bag
Got pro evo during lunch break & noticed this at £29.99.
Scanner broken & didn't wanna chance my luck rnring 2 items at the same time, so i thought i'd go back after work with different staff on CS desk.
What do u know, all 3 that were on the shelf had either been sold in the previous 4 hours or they had removed them.
Not a big store so I suspect the latter!
The SEL however remained so I will keep an eye on this one. Thanks ocset0 -
I had some successes today but I was 'gobsmacked' when at the last store the CS said to her colleague,'it's an r and r I have checked the shelf'.
It was service with a smile.:hello:0 -

The point that i am trying to make is that it is very rare that someone approaches a customer service desk or phones CS at head office with a compliment, more often than not it is with a complaint. This can often lead to heated exchanges and as everyone is human, if someone is rude to you the natural instinct is to be rude back or at least not be as helpful as one could be.
As I have stated I cannot and will not comment on individual cases nor can I speak on behalf on anyone but myself and therefore have no comment to make on the Mr Kelly comments that you have made that having been said, imagine for one moment that you are the aforementioned CS person sitting in your percieved (somewhat inaccurately I might add) ivory tower allegedly drinking coffee whilst you get phone call after phone call from people on here asking for you by name all chasing refunds - is it really possible to not show some humanity at some point and perhaps not be as polite as is deemed needed by your good selves.
Lets face it, if you (i mean the r&r'er not brindles) dont get an agreement for the refund by the end of the phone call you are not going to go away happy and thus the CS rep is in a no win situation.Fight Poverty - Hit a tramp!

They still had the 2 for £4.75 label up!
I do like a drop of becks!
And as far as KK is concerned, I wasnt impressed when I phoned him and was told he was "Busy on another line" and that he would call me back, when I said its ok I would hold on the phone (its a freephone number!) he answered immediately!Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -
