Danni I would agree - they are in vinegar so that should preserve them
I'll add this to the food safety thread later

Agree with the others the vinegar will have kept them preserved and the fact that you've had them in the fridge as well.
I keep and use these ages after they've been opened but generally cooked in chillis etc.GC Jan £318/£350, Feb £221.84/£300, Mar £200.00/£250 Apr £201.05/£200 May £199.61/£200 June £17.25/£200

I don't want to throw it out!
2 rashers, BB 21/5 (today). Package has been open. They look a little pain, slightly shiny. Does this mean they are off? They don't smell bad, but not "fresh".
Another pack, unopened, BB 20/5, package was shut , but a little swollen. Bacon is pink and happy looking, smells fine.
Can cured bacon really go off?
Can I eat this bacon?0 -
I'd cook it up and eat it if it smelt fine. If It tastes odd once cooked then my cats would eat it.Man plans and God laughs...Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.0

Same as above, cook it and see, i think that the first pack would definitely be ok, the second one if blown will probably still be fine but reserve judgement until its cooked.
SDPlanning on starting the GC again soon0 -

At 7pm last night I was given a whole chicken, some chicken breasts and some chicken pieces from my neighbour as she had switch her freezer off by mistake. They had defrosted only a little bit. I left them out to defrost but forgot to ask my hubby to put them in the fridge before he went to bed (as i went to bed early as i wasn't feeling very well). Therefore they were left out until i came down at 6am this morning......do you think they will be ok to cook and eat or have i left them out too long? They smell ok though. The temp this morn in the kitchen was 20 degrees.
Would you cook and eat them or would you throw them away?
Advice needed0
