    Xmas Saver!
should be ok, I would cook it into something like a spag bol, or a shepherd pie, so thats its got longer to cook.

I tend to buy mince etc if its on offer, freeze it, defrost overnight, bulk cook and refreeze the meal. x

After dinner last night I went to make a chilli to put in the freezer ready for a quick meal, however after I had started to cook the onion, garlic and mince I realised I had run out of tomatoes......!
I cooked it regardless and put in the fridge. Do you think it will be safe to add tin toms and spices tonight and cook for tea?

    Thanks

    Should be fine.

Just make sure that you cook it for a while with the tomatoes.

I make a batch of chilli and keep it in the fridge for up to 5 days so I am sure that your mince will be ok.

Moorhen what a lovely username, they are such pretty wee things.
Mice should always be cooked on a low heat, served on hot buttered toast and garnished with kale. ;)

obviously your meal of choice then Mar! :D

tootoo, you've already got the answer, it will be fine. I always add a tsp sugar for each tin of tomatoes in case they're sharp :)
... don't throw the string away. You always need string! :D
