You can't go wrong with out of date slim fast; if it's safe to drink then you'll lose weight and if it isn't safe to drink, you'll lose weight from both ends....

    That's what I'm worried about.......

Doesn't it taste rank anyway, how would you know? As far as the OOD goes, I'd say give it a go. As far as Slim Fast in general goes I would say bin it and come join us over on Weight Loss Old Style... we manage to lose weight without rubbish like that ;)

    Hello all,
I took a chicken out last night to pop in the sc this morning. There are a few ice crystals, not many and the flesh is not frozen and its only on the bottom of the chicken near the side that are kind of hidden if that makes sense!
do you think its safe to turn it on and cook or should I pop in the fridge and then cook tomorrow? I'm out all day today.
With it being chicken I'm usually very cautious....
    Thanks

Do you have time to put it in a bowl of cold water for a while that will defrost it a bit quicker..if not I'd leave it till tomorrow myself..

I defrosted some mince in the microwave yesterday but when DH came home he had bought a take away <roll eyes> so he bunged it straight in the fridge.

Now question is do you think it will be ok to use tonight? Don't see a problem but as 2 DC have been ill don't want to make them worse.

I was going to make burgers last night but I thought I may do a spag bol as that is cooked for longer.

So would you use it and what would you do with it?
