Given that they've been in tins, kept in the dark and (presumably fairly cool), I can't see that there would be problem with them.
If there is any evidence that they've got damp, even if they've dried out again, I'd chuck them though.0 -
Was it nice?0

Too late,I've put them out...they were nice though.:o There was no sign of dampness.Oh well.I've kept the tins of course.
I have enough of various ordinary/decaf and 'flavoured'/fruit type teas either loose or in sachets to last me a few years.(I go through phases of not drinking tea for years at a time.I'm back in a serious tea-drinking phase.).I'll certainly buy some fresh Gunpowder;apart from the taste, green tea has amazing health benefits I believe.I know that tea in general is good for you.0 -
How long does chicken stock keep for please?
I made some 2 nights ago in my slow cooker (Monday overnight), and wondered if it would be safe to use for soup tomorrow, or should I make the soup overnight, and then reheat again the next day.
I was thinking to wait till tomorrow, as always the chicken got cooked, then the bones got boiled again for the stock. So don't want to cook it, and the reheat particularly.0 -
Hi sublime,
I keep it for three days if it's in the fridge, but if it's been left in a warm kitchen it will go off quite quickly. You'll know if it's going off as it seems to sort of ferment and will start to bubble a little.

It still looks ok. I'll keep my fridge extra chilled, and cook first thing tomorrow. Thanks Pink!0 -
Hello, I was wondering the opinions of some of you OS's, I have a ready meal veggie curry with rice I got last week (naughty I know), and the use by date is the 24th, would you eat it for tea tonight?

I'd eat it, definitely. Unless I was pregnant, in which case I think I'd be a bit more cautious.Freddie Starr Ate My Signature
