  • isnt it odd how scales can vary. the scales i have at home weighed me at 5kg more than the scales in my gym where i usually get weighed...... and where i will get weighed tonight.

is there anywhere that has scales which can give a true figure of your weight or are they all a rough guide of what the issue is...?

  • I did watch the crash diet thing, and i thought the opposite really. Weren't they all just binging again when they got the chance to eat properly again?

Sam, you are supposed to use the same scales to weigh yourself. I guess its like car speedos not all being the same and having a bit of variation. I try to put my scales in the same place at home too in case the floor is a bit uneven as that can affect scales too. You are probably best to stick to one set to save you being disappointed.

  • 2Ib off this morning, which is all 5 of the IB put on last week off. Back to the starting point now. :o

Will that motivate me to get on my exercise bike tonight?

I had weetabix x 2 for breakie, i'm about to make a batch of carrot and lentil soup for our lunch, and then gammon with pasta and a atomato sauce tonight. Then no snacking after the kids go to bed.

    Hi everyone

I would love to join the weight loss challenge.

I have been eating smaller portions, reducing alcohol, trying to resist snacking and taking the dogs for longer walks.

    My starting weight on 1st January 2011 = 12st 1lb
    Todays weight 11st 1lb

First goal is to be 10st 7lbs

Well done to everyone, and keep up the good work!:T
