Numero uno still stuck at 13st 2 but it was quite a good achievement to lose all of the 5Ib last week. Plan is to get at least one session on the exercise bike this week, and to try and do a power walk down to the shops again with DS2 in the buggy. Just pushing his 3 stone bulk is hard enough without adding any shopping.0

Nothing lost in the last couple of weeks!
Seem to be stuck at the same weight at the moment and not dropping any, which is frustrating!
Am now fully back in the gym doing a split weights routine mon/wed/fri doing upper body and sat doing legs and cardio. Have been doing 30-40 minute walks on lunch breaks (when dry) and have been doing the odd bit on my training bike (100-200 calories).
Have also cut down on food intake and back to eating more protein than carbs, however looks like I need to revisit this. I may be retaining extra water at the moment due to some of the supplements I am taking.

Properly disappointing few days and another couple of pounds back on which is a massive surprise as all I've changed is the addition of regular exercise. 3 hours of badminton at the weekend and three 60 minute walks this week already have clearly done no good at all. I've got my gym induction for an hour tonight and then I'll go for a run for an hour whilst Moyra gets her induction so hopefully that will burn off a wee bit ahead of tomorrow's weigh-in.
Jock, which supplements are you on? I've never taken anything of that sort and wouldn't know where to start.
Cheers,
BillyMortgage Free: 28/10/2010Time / Interest Saved: 18.5 years / £61,866.500 -

Stress at work does not help at all.. My loss has slowed down since work stress has severly increased.. It will come down sharply as soon as you are in a better place... Remember that increasing exercise does not go well with decreasing food intake...
The more I eat, the more I lose.. thats the motto to follow...
Cheers

I used to take a whey protein supplement to up my protein intake, multi vitamins including ZMA and creatine for additional strength. However now use Reflex One Stop which contains all of them and the right amount of carbs (oats). Its basically like a meal replacement. I take this an hour before training.
After training (20 min) I take Reflex Growth Matirx which has all the electrolytes, aminos, peptides and minerals for muscle growth.
If you are starting out then a good whey protein will help, then you can experiment with creatine if you like and take it from there. You need to eat to grow, without proper protein intake its like pi55ing in the wind
