DansMum For a minute I was being dense and thought that was what you had lost!!! I was in awe!

I am hovering between 10 st 10 and 10 st 12 so am not bothering to post. I am keeping an eye on my measurements so I don't lose too much for my wedding dress so the weight will be more of a maintenance thing than anything until after that.

Went to the docs today about my blood test results; turns out I DO have the 'fat gene'. My family are all fatties, my Dad is diabetic and weight 16st+ and my mums 5'5" and size 26. I have always struggled losing weight but putting on seems to be too easy. I had 197 calories more than what I should yesterday(1500 for the day) and by this morning I had put on 3lbs! Its been like this all my life. I went on a detox diet run by my local gym a few years ago and you were gaurenteed to lose 10lbs in a week. I followed it to the letter and only lost 2lbs. I was so disappointed, but I was given a refund as it didnt work. I was the only person for the whole of the diet not to lose the 10lbs. So the docs given me some pills to take, dont know what they do but I'll take them and hope for the best!

    start weight 21st 8lbs/ 87.6lbs lost in total/ 10st 1lb to loose/ 7.8lbs lost in 2011 / 0.2lb lost this week :(

I'm officially into one of my pairs of size 18 jeans now! :j I also now weigh less than my Mum... she is sooooo not impressed! :rotfl:

Crikey taka, you've probably lost Kylie Minogue :rotfl:, well done :T.

Actually, it equates to an elephant's penis, 3 human heads and an ostrich egg.

I have lost an elephant's heart (which weighs less than it's penis, typical male :rotfl:).

Collectively we have lost a newborn calf, an automobile tyre and a dozen Krispy Kreme donuts :D
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

    another 1.5lb loss this week:j
  • No 20 signing in to report a loss of

    -2.5 lb

    :j:j:j

Another half a pound will make it half a stone!
  • I keep popping on here on an evening to try and motivate myself not to stuff my face.

My scales said 2Ib off this morning. Must keep working at it as that would be my first true loss, and i am desperate to go below 13 stone. 12 just sounds less big.

Keep going everyone. The thought of being the only non-loser again is what is keeping me going to make sure i lose something.

    Your not the only non-loser!

I have not lost any weight in 3 weeks :(

This is despite training more and slightly cutting back on food, my hope is I am trading fat for muscle :D

Rather than using the scales I am going to get the measuring tape out a start taking measurements, its the only real way I can check progress.
    5/10/12 : Mortgage Free :)
  • I'm sure that must be what it is Jock. I don't think that is my problem at the minute seems though i am stuck in with ill kids.

It must be the only time you want to be called a loser. :D
