think it rather adds insult to injury if some get offered it and some dont, think id actually go for it for 25 of the price.
could we all post on whether we are sucessful or not with the £50 and 25%?
So would l, but l think they mean 25% off and the numpties can't spell aswell as do maths!
I've sent a query in and l'm going to ask the same as you if they don't offer, why should some get it and not all?

How did you guys get it for £39? When I go on the website it says £349:mad:0

Has anyone had the £50 credited to their Very account? I got two emails (as made two orders) but so far nothing is showing up. Although I have to say, I am not sure where it would show up on the (online) page ?0

Had 2 emails from Very. I had placed 3 orders (balloon, Paris, couple choice). Have received the following:
Dear cherry6,
We are emailing about your recent order for Hot Air Balloon Flight for 2.
Between the 24th December 2010 and January 4th 2011 due to an inputting error the product that you ordered (Hot Air Balloon Flight for 2) was incorrectly priced on our website
Whilst it is our intention to keep our website up to date and error free, product description or pricing errors may occasionally occur. In this instance we are unable to honour your order as per our terms and conditions but as an acknowledgment of our error we would like to give you the opportunity to buy the product at a discount of 25% off the correct selling price of £349.00. If you wish to take up this offer then please call us on 0844 822 2321.
As a further way of our apology we will be sending you out a £50 Very Gift Card which you can use on Very.co.uk at anytime within the next 24 months
Mistakes like this are most unusual and I apologise for any inconvenience or disappointment this may have caused you.
Kind Regards
The second email says the same thing but with the Couples Choice voucher named instead. Dont know (like anyone else who has received emails) whether its £50 for each order or just £50 for each person, they havent mentioned the Paris trip. The email is badly worded regarding the 25% off/of thing, I do see it though as offering the trip with a 25% discount (so you pay 75%).
I did receive an email from them this morning stating my account had been closed as requested, I emailed them back and asked for an explanation of why there had been no contact explaining this whole mess, then these emails arrived about half hour ago. Dont know if there's a link.
Hope everyone involved receives an email...I do think companies need to learn to be more careful, and if this site points out glitches and companies have to pay out as a result, then good. Maybe they will be more careful next time. Please God, help me stop spending!0 -

I had my email at 19:25 so all hope is not lost if you haven't had one yet!War does not determine who is right - only who is left.0

My emails came at 5.40pm and 7.05. So didnt arrive together. Please God, help me stop spending!0

I have also received my email - which, whilst is clearly worded in exactly the same way as others, is addressed to me by my full name, and also is signed with a name (rather than something impersonal, like 'Very Team etc.) so personal contact of a sorts!
So, if I do get credited with the 50 quid, maybe I will get some nice bedding and curtains from them after all!
Kudos to the 'Very' team!"Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored." Aldous Huxley.

Not guaranteed.... I ordered the paris trip after seeing it on here (4/1). Knew it was a misprice but nothing ventured, as they say. I paid by debit card (never had an account and didn't want one)
Wasn't surprised that they didn't honour the deal but was a bit put out that they took the money then held it for a couple of days before refunding... Anyway, for me, no personal contact, no sign of an email promising me a £50 gift card, just a sour taste in my mouth about a company that I'll never use again
Ok ... I take it all back :rotfl: Email received from Very at 8.31pm tonight offering 25% off and £50 gift card. A most satisfactory outcome and as Very are obviously still monitoring this thread then a special thanks to them :beer:0
