@Very.co.uk representative
TBH l think this is a very generous offer, thankyou.
I might just take the balloon ride after all, let's face it 25% off £349 is £261.75 then l've (when l've got it!) got the £50 off so £211.75 still a good saving.
It equates to £50 for well, not much hassle people let's be fair.

Oh, hang on. I couldn;t pay at the time so l clicked to put it on my account, does that mean l will still get it? The message says 'paid at the time'

Hi all,
Sorry about not replying over the last few days. We have been closely monitoring this thread and others too but we have been awaiting confirmation of what is going to happen/how many accounts have been affected. Just thought I'd come back and clear a few things up as to what we have all been advised so far:
· We have already contacted the vast majority of people individually via email however they're may be a few customers still left to inform. We are working hard to notify all of our customers but Everyone will be contacted eventually.
· Everyone who has had their original orders cancelled due to the mis-pricing error will be receiving £50. If you have a credit account with us this will automatically be applied to your credit account.
This £50 is applied per account, not per order.
· If you have ordered and paid at the time through either Very or Additions, each customer will receive a gift card with £50 pre-loaded onto it to use on either website.
· If you have ordered and paid at the time through Littlewoods, Great Universal, Empire Stores, Kays, Marshall Ward, Choice or Woolworths you will receive a £50 cash refund.
· Everyone who had their orders cancelled will also be given the opportunity to purchase their selected Virgin Experience
Day(s) with 25% taken off the correct cash price.
Once again, please accept my apologies in regards to the issues we have all had regarding this error. Hopefully the information above clarifies the goodwill gestures we have agreed to offer all of our customers affected by this.
Kind Regards & Many Thanks
Chris

This £50 is applied per account, not per order.
That's not what I was told in my emails.
I received one email in relation to my order for a Paris trip placed on the AdditionsDirect website. That email said that due to the cancellation of the order and as a further way of your apology you will be sending me out a £50 Additions Gift Card which I can use on Additions.co.uk at any time within the next 24 months.
I also received an email in relation to my order for a hot air balloon trip placed on the AdditionsDirect website (same order as the Paris trip). That email said that due to the cancellation of the order and as a further way of your apology you will be sending me out a £50 Very Gift Card which I can use on Very.co.uk at any time within the next 24 months.
So I shall look forward to receiving my £50 Additions Gift Card and my £50 Very Gift Card.0 -

Jammin: in all honesty, Very/Additions have no obligation to give you anything.
In their T&Cs it clearly states that contract is only form upon dispatch.
Although their emails weren't too clear and it was probably Jimmy the temp that wrote it, I think we need to give them some slack and accept the single £50 from them - and say thank you to them for stepping up for trying to make it better for everyone.
They could've easily emailed us and said that it was a misprice and that no one will be getting zilch.
Kudos to the company I say.0
