I was inconvenienced too lol but I dont think the Very rep bothers to read this thread any more! I will be ringing them on Monday, as I have several issues with them at the moment (non delivery with Littlewoods and non action with the account closure email I sent them). In all I am really ticked off with them.
Please God, help me stop spending!

I didn't read this thread in time to try and scam Littlewoods before it 'sold out'. I feel really inconvenienced too. When do I get to win my £50?

    I feel really inconvenienced too.

Why do you guys feel really inconvenienced?

Is it because you had to urgently buy another birthday present within the last few days and it put you over a limit?
Is it because you felt obliged to check your emails, the very site and this site every 3 minutes?
you're a control freak and can't cope with the suspense?
    or another reason?

I have to say that when I opportunisitically try to take advantage of a obvious mis-price, then it's exactly what I expect to happen.

Perhaps those that gets stressed to the point of being unable to sleep, shouldn't partake as it's potentially bad for your health??

I do find some of the reactions very OTT.
If you were getting the product for real you wouldn't have the money in your account either.
Only those who have had to replace these items urgently (which isn't the vast majority) should be in trouble. The rest of us have agreed to pay for them and would be without the money if they were honoured, so I don't get the "inconvienience" part.
If you don't have the spare cash to buy them, then don't buy them in the first place.

I do hope that wasn't directed at me, despite the quote ebing taken from me! I am a mere fascinated observer in all this ....

Not really directed at anybody in particular.
I'm just fascinated by the behaviour.
Some people seem to be incredibly impatient when we know there is a manual process to follow for 35,000 orders.
Although it was their fault, they don't have an army of vounteers on standby to work the weekends and overnight. It's just going to take some time.

I don't understand the "inconvenience" of having money taken that you were expecting to be taken with the exception of a tiny minority that might have have an iminent birthday and have had to pay for a reaplcement present as well. The vast majority bought these because they were cheap either as a treat or for a future event.
The inconvenience of checking websites and emails every 3 minutes, is purely self-inflicted.
Why not wait two weeks and then start to get agitated.

I'm just fascinated by the behaviour, that's all.
Yes sure Very have made mistakes and not particularly handled it very well, but they are humans that make mistakes - big deal, it's not life and death is it. Only dissapointment which many people expected and warned others about. There were widespread warnings on this for people NOT to get their hopes up too high.

If people really feel it's a massive inconvenience and massive amount of stress then they shouldn't get involved in something that was clearly dodgy from the start.
