Virgin Experience Days Hot Air Balloon Flight for 2

d'oh!!
just had a look at my emails again. all of them say 25% OF the original price. so for example....balloon flight for 2 costs £349.00. 25% of that is £87.25. that's still a bargain for a balloon flight for 2. deduct £50 and it's only £1.25 more than the original glitch!
has anybody contacted very.co.uk to confirm whether it is 'of' or 'off'??
Not had the email as have not taken part in the deal, but from what I've read here ... It's a DISCOUNT of 25% of the original price. So you find that 25% amount, and you knock that off (discount) the original price.
So you pay 75% of the original price.0 -
... we would like to give you the opportunity to buy the product at a discount of 25% of the correct selling price of ...
This really isn't worded well. If you buy something at a discount of 25% I would expect it be 25% of the price. If you buy something with a discount of 25% I would expect it to be 75% of the price. I'm sure someone with better grammatical skills will correct me lol!0 -
Well if Very cant type a price in properly then their grammar is bound to be just as bad. Please God, help me stop spending!0
