Crisis! My prescription for lozenges did not arrive. It may come later but in the meantime I have none left & if they do not arrive, I face a 30 mile round trip to the nearest chemist to buy some.
So far, giving up smoking has cost me money. Not to mention the weight gain. I remember now why I went back to them on previous attempts.
stay strong sheep ali

18 days smoke free:
£153.95 saved
618 cigs not smoked
days 3 hours of my life saved
Its been hard this morning as I dreamt about smoking last night - ALL night I had random dreams and this morning was really hard.
Went swimming then came home and made some reduced sugar scones and a loaf thats rising in the fridge ready to bake tomorrow. Im fancying making a reduced sugar tea loaf, but dont think hubby would eat it. Im thinking of making the recipe with half the ingredients.
Hey ho - onwards and upwards.
Oh and hospital bag is half packed with everything baby needs - just nothing for me in it! Haha but Im sure it'll be fine...I have no idea what to pack for me so will have a google later!

Hi there Sally, it sounds as though you had a rough night where sleep's concerned which lead to the dreams, let's hope tonight will be kinder to you and you get the sleep you need as well as to keep you from dreaming. It sounds as though you've been a busy lass and well done, especially with the swimming. The talk of scones and backing bread is something I could have done without....I could almost smell the bread!!! With regard clothing for you; plenty of nightware, slippers and (without giving TMI) plenty of thingamys you haven't be needing for a few months.;) Apart from that, bath/shower things and underware it's about the lot. How long is it you're staying in for?
Hello and a warm welcome home, elfen! It's good to see you back and trying again, but d'you know what's let you down in the past? How far have you got before? I can only ask you to do the same as we ask everyone....please keep coming on the thread more as it's a place of great support and help. Also, if you read through the other 2 threads as well as this one you'll find there's some great advice and stories of people who have quit, enough to inspire you, I'm sure. Keep a strong hold on the determination you have and write down all the reasons you wish to quit for and keep right on reminding yourself of them. The money will be an immense help, but without your good health you're lost too!! This time, elfen and if you have a friend on Champix anyway, keep on urging each other onward until you've quit for life!!!

Hey
I don't mean to put a downer on the day but today has been hell.
I found myself getting snappy & mad all day. Every little thing infuriated me
I had the store tech in my office this morning & he was sat at the computer at the other end of the desk, and I'm not kidding his breathing was like sitting next to Darth Vador. I could feel myself getting riled up then snapped and said "!!!!!!, do you really have to breathe so loud" He replied, well excuse me for breathing & then I asked him to leave my store as I didn't like his attitude. I did have a good :rotfl: afterwards over how petty I was being & phoned him up to apologize which he acceptedAfter I got passed the moody stage today, it went brilliant & I feel like I'm back on track now
That "nick" seriously ain't winning!

Ah, thank goodness it all went well in the end, Adam, you had me a little worried with the first part. Doesn't that sort of thing get on your nerves though and him being there full stop obviously wasn't helping things. Look forward to a better day tomorrow and relax this evening. BTW, a huge congratulations on the first big milestone!!! :T:T
