but worst of all there is no control to their sale,any kid under 18 years old with access to internet can order kits online maybe to tied them over till they are old enough to buy proper killer sticks.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0

To be honest i think if kids are gonna smoke they will regardless of;
what the packet looks like, with or without gross pics on
what shelf or cupboard they are on, behind shutters or not
what shops they are in, or what online sites
It's very sad - but kids smoke because ;
their parents do
their mates do
they think it's cool
they think it makes them look tough
they think it makes them grown up
It's exactly the same with alcohol - the only way to stop kids smoking/drinking underage is for parents to step up and start being a parent and start to give a damn about their kids - this is where we have gone wrong
Just my humble opinion n that
Hope everyone is keep on quitting and looking forward to another smoke free weekend.
hugs

I really think peer pressure has more to do with kids smoking than their parents smoking. My fella's parents never smoked, but he was always out with the lads smoking. My own kids didn't start smoking until they got in with a crowd of numpties who were smoking and drinking. Twas funny when the wee man came home pi^^ed as a newt last Friday. Was telling him off then leaving the room to laugh at him. Got him into a bath *after the puking stopped* showered him down, then a couple of buckets of cold water to sober him up. Joys of teenagers eh?4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0

Sounds joyous Mazza.....
Interesting just reading between the lines a number of posts have been deleted...any idea why? just curious.....really not here to cause trouble. But will stand up for injustice. That's all. I have morals.....guess some folk don't...tis no prob. Tis common in today's society
Anyhow I had about 10 roll ups on Thursday at a friend's house (this is unusual - usually it's about 2 at his house) at least!!!....Don't know why...just couldn't stop smoking....but as soon as I got home home straight back on the puffer thing and I was fine - despite being a med low dose...interesting? I think it was tiredness (hoping so) cos like I'd been up half the night then had a 10 mile bike ride. I don't know? Anyone any ideas? I know willpower personally is lower when tired.....But so annoyed at self
Anyhow tis all my news. Mixed feelings about Sue leaving...She was good at first for me but everyone has their negatives. Life is not so much black and white but grey.... IFSWIM....
Whatever you're method of quitting good luck....we can do this folks

Que pasa? Came to report in and ask for help. Don't think I'll bother. Sorry folks but drama makes me want to smoke, not the desired effect. Good luck to you all.
May come back when it's all nice and calm again0 -

A lot of people do that.
I quit with a similar method to you but I used cigs,over about 5 weeks I reduced the amount of smoke I inhaled until the last week I inhaled none just blew it out straight away.
I found I had lost my nicotine addiction but still had the habit of opening a packet and putting a fag in my mouth.
I can see the attraction of E-cigs its the closest to the real thing,the killer sticks.0 -

You should know the answer to all the above, Erme, after all it was you who put the first nasty attacking post on, you who lit the touch paper and then just sat back to watch it all blow up. Don't make any more trouble where it is not needed.
People come here to try to quit, ok it isn't working for you, but others wish to try their best so leave them to do so in peace.
Morals and you? You have no morals, that much is clear, but then everyone has their negatives.
This folks is why I really don't think I can stay here, far too much nastiness for the sake of it.
