Well done Beenie . . . fantastic news! Vendors are normally pretty swift on posting out supplies, so hopefully you'll get yours today. Enjoy your drinky tonight.0

Anyhow I had about 10 roll ups on Thursday at a friend's house (this is unusual - usually it's about 2 at his house) at least!!!....Don't know why...just couldn't stop smoking....but as soon as I got home home straight back on the puffer thing and I was fine - despite being a med low dose...interesting?Actually I don't classify myself as a smoker anymore. I'm down from 36mg/ml (very high strength) e-cig liquid to 12mg/ml (medium-low strength) and it may have taken me like 8 months but still...
Sorry Erme that's a contradiction right there. You had 10 roll ups but think of yourself as a non smoker?
Anyhoo....I give up with this thread4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0 -

Reduced inhaltion cold turkey.
9months 2weeks 4 days smoke free
cigs not smoked 7346 (I found that hard to believe multiply that by 35 years)
Here comes the good part.
Money saved £2093.89
Nicotine withdrawal takes 3 to 5 days to eliminate.
Sticking something in your mouth regularly is the habit.0 -
Agree with Lotus, just stick anyone you don't like on ignore. It's such a shame to give up on this thread as it's helped so many people
Beenie, as Geneva says, the good e-cig/e-liquid suppliers are normally quick on posting out - some even same day as ordering.
Well done DenisAny luck with getting your OH to give up/cut down?

I started smoking on my 12th birthday (naughty!) and 15 years later i have finally stopped. It's like i've cut my arm off in a way. I must admit i'm using the ecig but i'd still be smoking without it, i've tried other methods so i'm soooooo happy. I hope to cut down and quit from them eventually. Most importantly my kids are happy that i'm no longer sneaking outside for a fag all the time
3 weeks and 5 days!!... but tonight i've got some friends coming over and i'll be having my first alcoholic drink since stopping. I'm really worried as one friend smokes and i'm awaiting an ejuice delivery so using an unsatisying one at the min.
All the others have gone with her.
Of course it's not up to her who posts where, so there is nothing stopping you posting on the new thread. But I would suggest with that type of person who needs to have everything their own way, it's not worth it. You'll be blamed for their small mindedness.
So, sorry, you've been shoved out into the cold by the very people that should be encouraging and geeing you up.
If you want to come to an e-cig forum then pm me, every time I mention another forum my post gets deleted for some reason.
Best of luck with it allFreedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -
Copied from the other thread
Sue can I just check if you have asked forum team to close the other thread? Its very unusual to have 2 on the same subject. I just assumed you had the last thread closed before you opened this one but it seems to be still going strong. Lets not get even more of a split eh all of this should be in one thread. (Post copied to both of the quitting smoking threads) Sorry if you have had permission and they haven't closed it yet btw.
Just to say I have not just gone with the other thread I assumed that was the new official one29th Feb Quit Day :j0 -
I'm very sad that because of my choice to give up smoking, after all other methods have failed, using an e-cig that I've been told in the opening post of the new thread that I will not be welcome.0

I can only assume that Sue was told to put that statement in her opening post Karmacookie but I agree it seems very wrong and I hope the powers that be explain why. I have never seen any other thread on any subject where a whole group of people are told they cannot post.
In my opinion anything that can help anyone to give up such a dangerous drug is worth discussing unless there is proof that in itself it is more dangerous than cigarettes so I am confused that debate is not allowed by MSE on this important subject.
I am guessing this will be closed soon but I think until it is I will stay here where everyone is welcome29th Feb Quit Day :j0 -
Thank you for your reply NtC, hope things are going well for you.
Who would have told Sue to put that statement in? I don't really understand what is going on here? this is an open forum and surely so long as everyone can respect each other's point of view nobody should be excluded from posting anywhere?0
