Me and my housemate try to make sure we make at least 3 good homemade meals a week, I also make at least one homemade soup a week for work and freeze all the extra. I personally find eating really good fresh food just makes me uber bouncy so I do half an hour of yoga 5 times a week, walk a lot and do Lindy Hopping twice a week.
Oh and I Ceilidh dance once a month, but that ALWAYS kills me
Eat well, be happy and move about lots! Proper food is so much better for the soul, and who wants to be skinny anyway, if I fall I would prefer to have a wee bit of padding so I have a chance to bruise rather than break something
I think it was mentioned when Celebrity Jungle was on.............who looks better.............Nigella Lawson or Gillian McKeith????
Who looks happier...........Alison Hammond or Victoria Beckham????
Had a soup for dinner tonight.........made in slow cooker.

Oh you mean the girls who can't think of anything in life except fitting into *that* dress and will starve for a week before going out, then drink two high sugar drinks, turn into a raving maniac and throw up halfway through the evening?
I think i'd rather have a taste for pints of real ale, go home to a decent gorgeous meal and know that at least my clothes fit me and if I need to shimmy I've got something to wobble~Nym~

Aye I split with my OH in May/June last year? Didn't lose all that much weight though lol. Normally when I'm stressed I lose weight, and in my head, look dreadful. I'm certainly not a size 8 though~Nym~

Hi to you all, and very many thanks for the caring PMs, you're such a kind-hearted lot and I really appreciate your thoughtfulness. I've been quite rough over the weekend, but am feeling better now.
First off A very warm welcome to (salski) Sally and to circus 48, I thought I recognised your name M!I sincerely hope you're both able to nip this in the bud now - for good too! Many congratulations, Sally, what a wonderful reason to quit smoking for!
Try not to be too fearful about quitting circus 48, I was so very frightened of quitting but absolutely terrified NOT TO!!! All the bad things associated with fags truly were messing up my life something terrible and now....I wouldn't go back if anyone paid me a million £s!!! It's a shame when you have other loved ones and friends who smoke, but you're the strong one, the one who could even show them the way to a far, far healthier life...and look at the money you'd save!!!!
Have a read through the thread as it's amazing how inspired you can be by seeing how others can and have deal with it. We've had so very many successes with this and the first 2 threads - why not add your name to the list??? I was thrilled to see you're making a start today with the patches, they'll help with the nicotine shortfall, but quit the fags just as soon as you can. If you hold firm to this M, you'll be amazed how quickly you CAN do without the nicotine as mostly it's only a "brain thing"! Kick Nic out of your life - while you still have the chance -your lads will soon become so very, very proud of their dear Dad...their hero. You CAN do it, M, and you can watch them grow up; you'll even get to hold your Granchildren. So much to think about gaining - NOT losing! We're with you all the way, just keep comeing on here and letting us know how you feel - good or bad get it off your chest and be so very proud you're doing just about the best thing you'll ever do in your life!
Hi DNS, sorry to have been absent, but thank goodness I was here last week when it was s new to you all. BTW -
Many Congratulations to you ALL, be it a week, 8 or 9 days or 3 weeks, you've done fantastically and deserve to be so terribly proud of such great accomplishments!!! :T:T:T:T:T:T
I haven't forgotten you, splishsplash, Catherine, copperjar (where is she??) and Ross, and how could I forget Larmy, Daz, Jammy, and DD who have come so far!!! You're ALL doing superbly!!! :T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T Well done to Az...(I think it was) who is treating herself to a new phone out of her savings, please everyone, treat yourselves as it really does helppush you further forward and help you recognise just what a HUGE achievement you've make - helps you buy more Ice Poles too eh, Caz!!!
All best wishes for another wonderful day everyone, you too Hattie, please don't allow other people to push you backwards! You'll end up cursing them - and you!
