    Och thanks Jammy....

Bit sensitive about trying other forms of NRT other than the e-cig as have had such probs with them in the past...

Glad I didn't go to vapefest like I was planning to when high in the summer. Looked far too crowded by the photos and like the guy I was supposed to stay with in Bath after is now homeless :( as his tenancy expired (so he's staying put and waiting for the bailiffs)

Finally bashed a hole in the carto last night...... yay!!! the one I had on yesterday burnt cos there was no hole in it...

    Eek....at least I only vaped 0.9ml till I realised....

Blood sugar still low from not eating tea last night with paranoia :(....feeling rotten and still dreaming of cigs. Have the odd occaisonal dream about them. Anyone else get that? Only last night they tasted sooo good and I wasn't coughing up my lungs

Praying this anxiety goes soon. It could be any of a number of things like the overdose or injection being due or ANYTHING..Also praying my first pack of kangers for the tank (kanger is a new brand of carto.) turn up tomorrow. Little down I'm not volunteering tomorrow as V has an appt at 2 but that means I can go jogging at some ungodly hour :D....Yay (leg is now healed)

    Hi there,

Do you mind if I join you.

I decided yesterday that today is the day I start (again) on my quest to be fag free!

Have tried a couple of times in the past, my most succesful attempt so far has been 5 weeks. Ive got my patch on and despite the gremlins creeping into my thoughts a couple of times already this morning I am doing ok.

Hope that posting on here will provide a bit of support for when the gremlins threaten to get the better of me.

So here i go, wish me luck!

you say you have gone 5 weeks before thats magic :D,, shows that you can do it ..., you may find it useful to be aware of what your trigger was to re starting so this can be avoided

Of course not, welcome aboard. You'll knowt aht the first few days are the worst, but the patches are good. I started on the 25mg ones, and took occaisonal NiQuitin minis, and I'm on day 43 from my 15 - 20 a day habit.

Keep coming back whether you're doing good, or you just need a bit of resolve, there are plenty of us fighting to stay smoke-free.

Congratulations on makingthe choice (and for joining us)

Maybe have some 'back up' for the difficult bit (i.e the 5 week mark or whatever it is for you. For me it's the 6-8 week mark after the initial few days. Have promised the day centre if I get to three months I will bake some serious cake :D)...I don't know what you would like. There's loads of options. But get them in now...

Options I'd go (from experience) is the inhalator (get off ebay) or like the plastic cigarette (crave away = about £2.50 from the chemist or online)

Anyhow for those that don't know what my new baby is like here he is

The tank is on the top with the mouthpiece inside it and a drip tip (the purple thing)....the battery is inside the black scratched bit....and is an 18650...

Total cost for this beauty = £47 plus e-liquid (the orange stuff in the tank at the top), batteries and charger :T + cartos (mouthpieces)

That's the price of a week's smoking and considering the VV died last week I have no probs...

Lovely thing would you not all agree ;)

Now wait till Sue-uu comes back and sees that :rotfl:

    Get well soon Sue btw...

Thanks for the welcome everyone, the reason I failed at 5 weeks the last time was that I had run out of patches, but seeing as it had been a while I thought I would be fine. I now understand why you have to be on them for 3 months!
