john Lewis have some nice pottery painting kits. would need to buy several but will still be in budget. Thanks again x Jo

Perhaps you're better of buying some ceramic paints (that you bake in the oven to set) and pick up some some super cheap plates or cups. (Even some old tiles ) Might work out cheaper that way. Just google Pebeo.
They do ceramic and glass paints that you harden in an 150oC oven.

    Have fun!:)

    Big hugs to Tappers xxxx

Been up to mums today to help her with housework, she is getting overwhelmed again, did three loads of washing, and dried them, left her with another two to do, cleaned out her conservatory and within 5 mins I had filled 4 black sacks with rubbish , hoovered through kitchen and lounge, have had another word with them about moving, the house is far too big for them and the garden is huge, its a total mess, and I can't seem to keep on top of it and do my house too :(. They could get a small house or flat with tiny garden which they could then enjoy, mum has said she will phone estate agent, so fingers crossed.

Hope you all have good evenings xx

Do you have a Home Bargains/B&M/Poundstretcher/Wilko nearby? They often have paint your own piggybank and other items for cheap - like £3 or under! Probably cheaper than JL.

    Evening all

It is freezing here :( it was even freezing in work, which is odd as it's too hot for a tshirt, even in winter, normally! We have had the odd snow flake but don't think we getting proper snow til end of week.

First day back at work was good (bar the coldness!), took it easy and didn't strain myself ;). Popped to the market at lunch to get some bananas and eggs. I think if I by these type things there then it will be better than buying at supermarket, and lots more stuff ending up in basket! But somedays I don't get long enough to go to shops at lunch so I'll see how it works.

I went to gym after work, it was a lot busier than usual! And I realised that when it's dark, people can see in the tinted windows at gym, so some people must be getting a dodgy view of my F cups when I'm on the cross trainer!!! :rotfl: Luckily I normally go in daylight hours!

Off to make some tea - freezer curry.

    Have a good evening all

Came down with a cold sore last night:eek: I hate them as they are so sore and unsightly. Hope it goes before the Birmingham meet, want to look presentable:D

Had a letter from the hospital today, more abnormal cells found on my last smear so another colposcopy is looming.:( have lost count of how many I've had now over the years, what with this and the Mirena I'm fed up of being poked about still I mustn't moan as there are plenty far worse off.

You planning on going on the pull? :p;)

    Have a hug xxx

Busy day, managed to repair a cushion (get me - someone who can't sew actually doing some sewing :j) and dice and cook some mushrooms to freeze after playing with kids all day. Going to sit and tackle some CM paperwork, bloomin' risk assessments are a right PITA!!!!!

Anyway nice to see the thread so busy :T
