Halight, I hope you're just doing a man-pretendy-huff-thing, and not really upset as I like reading all about your wee family everyday and your double entendres - even if they are accidental! :D

Had a nice day out at the MIL's - was going to dye my hair but CBA'd, we all went to Pizza Hut for dinner :o diet restarts tomorrow.

Hope you are all OK, hugs for Mr Marie. Which I know he'll like as he says I'm gorgeous (might be worth getting his eyes checked too Marie ;) ) xxx

    Evening everyone

A late one from me. Ds2 back at school tomorrow, so spent the day out together. Went into London to the royal festival hall where they had a workshop on with singing, dancing etc. Ds2 wouldn't join in, but we had fun watching, also spent 30 mins in the peotry library sat on beanbags reading some poems. Ds2 struggles to read but we found some dr ruess(I think that's what they were called) and he was even trying the words.

Os today dw & wm on, floors swept, dog walked. Dinner was left over gammon with mash & peas. I made weetibix cake yesterday which has now all gone. I only had 2 small pieces. Dh & ds2 ate the rest.

V8monkeyboy - happy birthday hope you had a lovely day.
    Taplady - ((hugs))
joeck - how about designing t shirts, you can get fabric feltpens. Also I know that they have got some events on at the royal festival hall, maybe worth checking out.
Bitsy - hope your aunt is ok, thinking of you.

Hope anyone feeling poorly is on the mend. Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take care

halight...... You are outnumbered mate :p and I love your posts too x

Treated myself to a tia maria coffee with lots of squirty cream (I am making the most of it  before I start the diet on Monday :()
Got DS a midi dehumidifier for his room £29 from Aldi today. I hope it does the trick. He has two walls that are always freezing and as a consequence attract condensation despite having cavity wall insulation.

JackieO ...I agree, it is great that we are becoming so multi-national. It is great to know that there are so many OSers all over the world

Definately turned colder here as the day has gone on and they say that the freezing weather is set to return by the end of the week:(

    Sweet Dreams everbody x

JackieG....did you not know that OH only has sight in one eye!! Thanks for your text, he is in bed and seems a bit better, ate a child's dinner but at least he ate.

Taplady....good luck with colposcopy...my cure for cold sores is to rub a cut clove of garlic on the sore...hurts like Hades but seems to help...other than that you could try one of those patch things that go over the sore...but I think that they are mainly a cosmetic thing.

    Night all, sleep well

    Evening everyone

:bdaycake: vmonkeyboy and anyone else celebrating.

    :hello: newbies, lurkers, returners, etc

Well I am packed (ish) apart from last minute things and don't need to leave until 11 tomorrow, so time enough in he morning. PC backed up and all relevant files on a hdd with me. Bread buns for the journey made, everything not standing still charged up or tidied up, towels washed, bed changed, "English" food got and packed, and in the car.:D

Whatever I've forgot now, will either have to be purchased there or done without.;)

((hugs)) Pen-Pin hope they don't need more of your blood.

((hugs) tappers and Jayward Hope you both get sorted soon and that the boiler is mended or replaced quickly.

    Take care all. DG
