Good Morning everyone ,back to normality at last ,no more bank holidays for awhile thank goodness,
Happy Brithday to Bramble Hope you get lots of spoiling.
DD has an interview this morning so I am hoping she does well.No shopping to get at all this week which is good.I managed to have a lovely ham salad with the sliced gammon from the Sc and made four portions up that went into the freezer for lunches later this month. So five meals from a £4.00 tiny bit of gammon will do me nicely.I used my new meat slicer for the first time yesterday and its brilliant .I bought it from argos about a month ago and I think it cost me around £15.00 but well worth it as the gammon sliced beautifully.
I am going to do a new stock take of my freezer today to update my list that I have stuck to the outside of it.
Hope everyone has a good day
Take care all
JackieO xx
P.S. Just remembered I have an old fitted sheet that I am going to take the frill off and cut up and hem for cleaning clothes. Its got so thin its time it went where all defunct sheets go.Still I can sit and do that whilst watching some catch-up t.v. this afternoon. Nothing but nothing gets wasted in my house. Its white cotton so it will be good for those grotty jobs where I can bin the cloth afterwards, like washing down my garden furniture in hope of some nice weather to come.0 -
Do you know what ??? I am not even sure it is Brambles Birthday ???:rotfl:(my fault I started the Birthdays off !!) ,I remembered it was someones today, but think it might be v8monkeyboy instead, anyway Happy Birthday to anyone celebrating

Morning all & happy birthday Bramble!
One DS back at college, the other at nursery school, car taken by garage for suspension fixing & seal to tailgate replacing - car's only 15 months old, so not impressed!
2 loads of washing done & am keeping up with washing up & ironing - good for me!Got to do food stocktake & bake something for biscuit tins today. Tea something quick as it's my night class - some leftover soup for littlies, freezer tea for the rest of us.
Have a good day, hugs & kisses,

Morning all
Happy birthday V8monkeyboy  and maybe Bramble! :rotfl:
I'm back at work. Quite glad to have normality returned to be honest! 3 of my colleagues are in too, but they are in an office 2 rooms away so I'm on my tod in hereI'll pop up to them for a gossip every now and then though
I was going to walk to work this morning, but it was pouring down so I brought the car. I will now go to the gym after work (I park at the gym for work!) so it's not that bad.
OS wise - I've brought some HM soup for lunch, DW went on when I left, need to put yesterday's laundry away. Dinner will probably be a curry from the freezer with leftover rice from yesterday.
Have a great day all

Good Morning - and Happy Birthday to anyone born on 4th January!!
DH off to work today - quite like old times (but it's only to cover someone else's holiday - he'll be back retired in a few days!!)
I have washing on and towels in the TD. Have just been into town to the Building Soc. to sort my e-ISA out and to buy some storage boxes for DGD's toys. Need to spend some time tackling "her" room as she comes to stay this w/e with DS.
Corroborree Hotpot from freezer tonight, so that's easy. Lunch will be HM soup and cheese and biscuits.
Will take tree and decs down tomorrow so they're gone by twelfth night.
Hope to do some nore knitting later on.
Hope you all have a good day. Take care of yourselves.Resolution:

Morning All!
Late start againI was up far too late watching movies
But washer and dryer are both on, children have been ordered about and OH is currently in the shower - his boy's drinking day today starts at 2pm!!! He's suggested a homw time of 10 -11pm, we shall see
I'll leave a spare duvet and pillows on the sofa for him in case he cant managed the stairs :rotfl:
The boys and I will be going to gran's today as SIL and DNeice go home tomorrow, it will be nice to spend some time with them before they go. DS1 also has french translation homework to do which he's been putting off and putting off which drives me insane, but I am trying to teach him a lesson about planning
Hope you all have good days, hugs for nmlc, I hope you have a good day today.
£5 in my sistercas fund, I conned some loose change out of the OH yesterday
Hugs, spoons and hi5's all round the houses.

:bdaycake:Happy Birthday v8monkeyboy,possibly Bramble,and anyone else celebrating!
We had more snow during the night,so DH had to clear the drive before he could get the van up.I've been out with the dog, then I cleared a neighbours drive as she has hip probs, and is taking her disabled son to a hospital appt today.I am walking her dog too later,as she won't get back till teatime.
The kitchen looks like a bomb dropped,so thats first.I also appear to have a washing mountain that has been slowly building up,so need to tackle that.
I made some broc soup yesterday ,so I'll have that for lunch. We had pasta bake yesterday with mushrooms and a pack of basics bacon.I put the leftovers in a foil dish and froze it,so I'll look for something like that in the freezer for today.
Just realised I am missing an earing, the pair that DH bought me at Christmas:eek:,better go and check the bathroom.
Bye for now, hope you all have a good day.:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)0 -
Morning all! Thank you for the birthday wishes...unfortunately it was my birthday in December!! I believe it is V8monkeyboy's birthday today so HAPPY BIRTHDAY
You made me chuckle! (i did have a good birthday though!)
I took the tree down today, our living room is so big now!! put 2 loads of washing on so far and the basket is now empty!! It's not been like that for a long time!
Not been told not to go to work yet, so am assuming they still want me in this week. (Thank god, really need the dosh!)
Dreading the post thing week, am expecting lots of mean letters. Going to make my SOA today to send out to everyone. Thats the next job in fact. Hopefully i can get my printer to work so i don't have to write it out all the time!
