Morning All
We woke up to snow yesterday
Watching the solar eclipse at the mo the moon will cover 70% of the sun at 8.12am
Happy Birthday bramble :bdaycake:
DH has gone back to work today and DS is at school tomorrow :j
The tree and decs came down yesterday and are safely back in the loft until December and the house was done right through , so I think I will get cracking on a thorough stock take of the cupboards and freezers today so I know what to get in for the LC diet that will start next week .
Dinner tonight is HM soup - it will be nice to have something simples for a change after the Christmas food fest.
Have Good days Guys and Gals xBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Council arrived at just before 7.30!!!! to do the bulky item collection we had paid for (old suite) bet I was popular with the neighbours as they banged and crashed through the garden and into the fence
. Dinner will be something from the freezer, must make cake,do ironing and some paperwork
today. Have a good day everyone.

Handy man arrived at 7:30  had to get up and show him what needed doing as our landlord apparently hadn't bothered! He'll be back bright and early tomorrow to make some doors actually fit in the door frames, will be nice to have doors that close
Day in today, lots of uni work and wanted to get a bit OS cleaning, making bread and doing a batch of bean stew in the SC but will be a bit difficult now and I forgot to turn my storage heater on last night so it's freezing! Well done aimee, genius! :TLiving cheap in central London :rotfl:0 -

Morning everyone.
Dark here and a wee bit chilly brrrrrr. Have a list as long as my arm of things I need to start doing this year, accounts, CM paperwork is MASSIVELY behind (learning journals, planning for Jan, risk assessments), garden looks like a tip and I need to start prepping for spring planting, house needs a VERY good clean
and that's before I start on the decluttering <sigh>
Not much going on today as I am working today, inset day at school. Back to normal tomorrow :T
Tea was actually prepped last night and put in SC (go me :j) and is chicken, ham and leeks in a apple juice and paprika sauce. Smells better than it sounds :rotfl:
Think I overdid it a bit yesterday, despite feeling better I think I did too much rushing around. Full of snot etc again today. I am not taking a tonic, ecinnachea (sp?!) and multivits. I shall rattle when I walk at this rate
Bramble - Happy birthday, hope it's a good one
v8monkeyboy - Happy birthday to you too  Hope you have a good day and that your OH will not be heading off on the 12th x
Halight - is it nice to feel so hen pecked? :rotfl: If you don't get it in the neck of your wife there are plenty of us here to pick up the slack
NPM - I had to google Connor Temple......mmmmmm I approveMind you I appear to have weird taste in men as I too find Mr Depp lovely as Captain Jack but don't fancy the likes of Brad Pitt or David Beckham
Butterflybrain - despite being awake no chance of seeing eclipse as it's cloudy here. So much for them saying Midlands was best for viewing on Stargazing Life last night! Second show tonight and I can't wait. Might send H up in the loft for my telescope so I can view Jupiter
Hope everyone enjoys their days back at work.
Hugs, spoons and high fives all round. Have a good day OS or not.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Morning all
I have lost about 1/2 a stone over Christmas; but I would massively not recommend the "5-day-psuedo-cholera-dehydration-program". :rotfl: :rotfl: I'm feeling fine now and everything is back to normal, but I'm still not up to eating much. I had half a slice of toast wth marmite for breakfast and think that may well be all I can face for most of the day.
Made a scary trip to one of the local outlet shopping malls yesterday afternoon (read - "place full of psycho women brandishing paper carrier bags full of stuff that doesn't suit them") to find OH a suit for the wedding - first shop, first suit was perfect, but he made me trek round the seventh circle of hell just to check everywhere else first before going back and buying the blasted thing two hours later.
I put the washing machine on before I left this morning, but that is about it as far as OS is concerned as I;m back at work and not really knowing what to do with myself. I have some packages to post at lunchtime (late Christmas pressies for a friend in the US - opps!), but might make it an early day otherwise
Have a good day all, cel x:staradmin:starmod: beware of geeks bearing .gifs...:starmod::staradmin:starmod: Whoever said "nothing is impossible" obviously never tried to nail jelly to a tree :starmod:0 -
