A double buggy was the biggest waste of money for me with the older two. There was a 15 month age gap and I used it probably for 3 months if that and once DD could walk well she refused to get in. Personally I'd just get a buggy board type thing. I'd have been better of keeping DD in the buggy and carrying DS in a sling the first few months till she walked better.

This is where kids are soooo different, i have a 15mth age gap between my youngest two and my double has been a lifesaver. DS3 does like the freedom of running about BUT there is no way he could do the school run walking and I wouldn't be able to keep him on a buggy board....he is 22mths now and I doubt he will be walking everywhere for the next few months!!
I am going to get a single and a buggy board for when he starts pre-school in September, he will be 2.5yrs old then, I think it would be too much for him to walk the school and back 4 times a day, even I find it knackering...

However, DS1 walked EVERYWHERE from about 18mths old, and refused point blank to go in a buggy!!! He was a super walker though so it never bothered me, if he had been a dawdler I would have forced him into one:p He did sometimes hitch a lift on the shopping basket of ds2's buggy, if we had been out for hours;)

MV he's lovely :) they all look like old men or E.T at that age I think :rotfl: no offence meant, I've thought that about all of mine :o

My friend is bringing my other phone back :j Since I lost mine I've been using my mum's 5 year old 3 phone and it's a POS although it was nice of her to give it to me especially since it had almost £10 in credit on it :o

Now to order some free 02 sims with deals on :T

Squeak is holding her head up well on her front now. In fact I may take and post a pic. When I have the other phone lol.

Well I had a poop night last night

Elliot totally spewed before bed, bits of ham and carrott yuk, so had to clean that up, then it took us an hour to get him to sleep, he usually goes straight down

Then he was awake a million times in the middle of the night!

And he has a cold :(

    Poor baby

I do have to admit if mine were born the other way round it would have been a lifesaver because DS was so so very lazy. DD however would walk for miles, perhaps not in a timely manner but we had no where we had to be as such at the time. By preschool age DD walked no probs but DS often still went in the pushchair or was carried part way. So it can depend on the child.

MV he is gorgeous, and doesn't look grumpy at all. We have had the I'm screaming so hard no noise is coming out a few times now, when will they understand they have to have their nappies changed and have to be put down for it lol
  • Hello all! not popped in for a while, welcome and congrats to all new mummies and babies, MV your baba is soooo cute!!! love the piccies :)

Hope everyone is keeping well :)
