Morning all! Very dreary out this morning, not very motivational for going to work in a few minutes.
Quick random question - Butlins or Pontins? Price is roughly the same, but Butlins looks nicer and has creche...top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne
would like to win a holiday, please!!

Ikea tomorrow for a doormat and meatballs!!
What a great combination!
Merfe: I found with T it was realising what he liked doing, I assumed he would wana be cuddled all day when really he was much happier doing other stuff like being on his playmat with a toy/ etc. When he was 8 weeks I got him a bouncer and even though I wasn't going to get one it's been the most used item as he still loves it now! I only put him in it for short while so I can grab breakfast/ etc but he loves it.
T is still poorly, was very hot last night so I had to give him calpol and he still isn't up which is unlike him. At what point do others normally see a Dr when babies are poorly? He coughed all night in his sleep0 -

We're going to Haven so not much help- we got a cheap Daily Mail holiday ('cos it was posted on here, not because I buy the paper) and they have a kids club for littlies. My Mum owns a caravan on a Haven site and we like that one so hopefully this one will be good too.
Kitkat- do you think it might be teeth? That is what H is like when he has a tooth breaking through. If you're worried call the doctor though, always better to get them checked than sit tight and worry.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -

Butlins. Pontins are in currently in administration and are looking for a buyer. Have been since November. We have stopped selling Pontins as its too risky if they go under. I would book Butlins in the knowledge that your money will be safe and you will get a holiday'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
Good Morning btw lol!!'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0

There used to be a little pontins place here (am near the sea in touristy area) but they knocked it down a few years back. They were self catering apartments that always looked a bit scuzzy and although near the harbour, were right by the secondary school I went to. lol.
So I'd pick Butlins too if the pontins here represented all of them!
Hope all the teething/ill babies feel better soon
KitKat I don't know about where you are but with my surgery you can call reception, be put on the nurses triage list and the nurse or a GP calls you back and either offers you advice or gets you an appointment. I think they are more likely to want babies in to see them, and for toddlers it's morer 'give them some calpol and put them to bed' lol. I rang about squeaks face yesterday and they said 'ok come up in half an hour' so it's worth a try.Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Thanks Jillie (and others), Butlins looks nicer anyways and has creche and I don't like the risk of Pontins. Not worth the £20 difference...top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

How is my 7mth old speaks more than my 22mth old??? I have been having a mega clean today, gutted the bathroom and toilet and completely bleached both rooms down from top to bottom. I also, risked my life and went in to the boys room!!! They now have the rest of it to do themselves, Although I have done the worst of it. There is TONS of stuff under their beds and no way am I sticking my arm under there lol xx
Shattered now but both littlies have had naps already so I won't get a rest haha x
I will try and get a catch up session later...Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -

Not been to Butlins or Pontins.
We converted some Tesco vouchers as we wanted to go to Devon, but by the time the vouchers came, they'd sold out of Clubcard places on that siteNot sure what to do with the vouchers now.
Here I go again on my own....0
