I think there is too much excitement for them to sleep, like yesterday put him a swing to sleep and was grabbing all the toys, I think playing is much more exciting! But then last night he was overtired and like daisy was doing a proper cry, luckily my DH is very good at settling him. Not sure what to suggest t started sleeping through really when discovered his thumb could get him back to sleep rather than mummy, like night before stirred at 4 had a look and was sucking his thumb half asleep.
I can get E down for a nap no problem but she wakes up too early and is still really tired. She then gets all worked up and won't go back down but then gets even more worked up because she's still tired . She also hates you holding her when she's tired.0 -
Sir M, sorry, I'm getting you mixed up with Esio (no idea why, duh
) BLW is awesome - very messy, but great. I'm the same about weaning, can't be bothered pureeing and mushing stuff (another reason why I BF too, laziness) We started off with bits of steamed carrot, now madam tucks into virtually everything we have. Woe betide anyone who tries to sneak a biscuit within her earshot though, which is good, cos it's making me and OH think more about what we eat.

Erin also got app through for her inturned feet, any idea what they will do? not had to deal with this before?
Hi Caz, they prob won't do much as she is too young for it to matter really.
Edgar was referred to podiatry for his pigeon toe-ness and the podiatrist seemed a bit p'ed off that he was referred as they are only interested if they're over 3yo when they do stuff like a bit of physio, insoles etc.
She did examine him and explain things to me nicely though, examination was just looking at the feet/ankle and him walking around a bit.
CAFC if you are about, please can you change my entry on the first page to match my sig for Edgar having been weaned off the breast, ta!0 -
I've just packed away all my nursing bras and am all sad and a little bit dusty-eyed
She still gets on bf a day but it is early morning so I'm not in a bra.
*sniffles*
Still, it's a very productive day again and I'm considering a trip to Ikea tomorrow. Did I mention I have an unhealthy love for Ikea?Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Hi all, Have a question...
My little boy is nearly 4 months old and my hair is starting to come out in clumps - big clumps! Is this normal - could it be my hormones? (Luckily I have fine hair but lots of it, so it's not obvious, but this has been happening for a week or so now)
j xxx
It's to do with hormones. Normally you shed a little hair everyday but it's not usually that noticeable. When you're pregnant, the hormones affect the natural hair loss and you lose a lot less which is why your hair feels thicker.
Once baby is born and everything settles down you lose all the hair you should have lost while you were pregnant and it can seem a bit alarming when it's coming out by the handful.
I downloaded the latest Fifa update on the xbox and when I started playing, Andy Gray shouted at me to get in the kitchen and make him a sandwich :rotfl:Here I go again on my own....0 -
I just need to say, my HV is lovely
She came round earlier and she's much nicer than our old one. She has signed all forms i need for Milk Vouchers and is sorting out some free stair gates for us :j
She's also doing Lilys 1 yr review early because she thinks she is advanced *proud mummy*0 -
Sir M, the ratbag is not a napper either - when we're out and I've seen her getting drowsy, I've even been known to walk an extra mile just to get her to sleep
There's a definate case of nosy-itis with this one. How's your little man going with his weaning?
Smartie, I know Daisy is a wonderfully clever bubba, but we found that madam would have hideous nights, with proper crying (normally she faffs in her cot until I get her) and then all of a sudden she'd learn something new (rolling, sitting etc) and it would stop. Could that be maybe a bit of what is happening with Daisy, her brain is going overboard with learning stuff? Hope it settles down for you though. Wish I could help on the bedtime thing, but madam decided last night that 11pm was hyperactive teddy lobbing time!
It's been nearly 2 months of it!! At first it linked in with her learning new stuff but it doesn't seem like it now?? Unless she's suddenly going to get up and walk, do a little dance and sing a little song!;) I may just forgive her then!!!:rotfl:
delain... she was born with teeth nearly poking through!! Can feel top ones maybe on their way... but its felt like that for a while. Hope squeaks rash is nothing too worrying.
Daisy is having pureed stuff as well as chunks of banana, carrot etc. Banana is her all time fave:D Pureeing (is that a word?) doesn't bother me and hardly takes anytime.
Glad you have a nice HV EA:)BLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -
Edit: Aless I taught a lot of American students and had a little thing on my syllabus to let them know that if they went over their 3500 words they should change the font to Arial Narrow, if they were under to try Book Antiqua and any submission in Comic Sans MS would result in an automatic ten points off.Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

Are they supposed to get a 1yr review? Don't think Amber has had one. Unless she got it with her jags when the HV asked how I thought she was doing.
Still waiting for follow up apointment with gastro team. No doubt they will arrange a full development review, they did mention it.
My belly is runny... DH is hopefully going to get the boys...0
